Thank you for re-uploading this fantastic, post punk inspired cover. Don’t know if this band is still around but they really made this song their own with the rough and raw guitar and awesome harmonies
Her voice is really great and they can all play too! So hard to re-interpret the Great Steely Dan but this is a fabulously good version - my compliments!
I really love this version of one of Steely Dan's finest songs. Cool vocals, intricate guitar playing and great musicianship... it's not easy to play this number but they did a great job!
Wow, I can't believe this is back up. Such a great cover. Bought the first Hospitality album based on the strength of this cover (which is seriously a fantastic album)
Thank you for reinventing this song. I hate covers that duplicate the original. What’s the point? Bass player is insanely good on the turnaround run. Electric lead is better than Skunk’s. Vocalist turns the song into punk. I’m not a punk fan but for some reason I love this. Drummer is steady. Well done!
I really like this cover but I wish Amber's vocals were a little less staccato. Background singers: "You might use it if you feel better.." Amber: "... 'u ge' ho'."
Been a Dan fan since their first album dropped in late 1972. There are plenty of faithful covers of this classic from 1974, so thanks for reinventing it in spectacular fashion here.
I couldn't tell you for the life of me what I liked so much about this cover that made me think about it on a nearly weekly basis for all the years it was lost from the Internet. The original, should on paper, be superior in every conceivable way, yet there is something about this rendition that is damn joyously life-affirming. So glad it's back up!
Damn!!!!! Whatta gorgeous cover.

Is it just me or does she sound like Juliet Lewis
I look for this all the time. It’s back.
Wow this rocks. This is the first interesting cover of a Dan song ive heard
Tienen algo especial....me gusto❤
Muy grata versión la de estos chicos para este grandísimo tema de Stelly Dan😊
That was actually pretty good.
Punki Don’t Lose That Number
This clip led me to explore this band and download their album. I don’t think they exist anymore.
How did they learn it so quickly? Flawless performance as far as I could tell. And the guitar solo, phenomenal!
I gave it a shot: ua-cam.com/video/AshX5aiRGzE/v-deo.htmlsi=dYFci1DjLUVaTdG3
Bien vu !
Dude kills this lead!

This song made me fall in love with Hospitality. Too bad they don't release music any more!
fun wish it was closer to the real thing......

Simplicity with a punky attitude yet very very tasty Nice job 😎

Very cool. Very cool!

Took a great song and made it better! Make your argument!
Great! Don’t replicate it, do your version.
More up beat than the original. Definitely has a 90s feeling 👍🏻
Cool . love her voice

100% truth. can't believe this.
She didnt have confidence with the buckingham song, but this one, she talked her way through this song just fine.
UAU !!!! BRASIL, América do Sul ligado em vocês mesmo !
Joan Jett version
I really like this cover but I wish Amber's vocals were a little less staccato. Background singers: "You might use it if you feel better.." Amber: "... 'u ge' ho'."
I love you guys ❤, such a good cover👍👍👍👍👏

Too fast. It's sorrowful song.
Great cover!

Totally agree!
One word: PunkRock
It's a hearbreak song either way, but there's a different kind of tension at this tempo. I grew up on the original, but I play this a lot now.
One of the few covers I like way more than the original. I used to watch this almost daily
