    Good stuff for any filmmaker to know, but thumbnail is a bit misleading. Expected some more specific tips on mixing sound in Resolve, not just someone talking about the basic concept of sound design. An important concept to understand, but one that anyone clicking on this video likely already does :)

    14:02 I just wanna say, throughout this video I kept thinking to myself this is a special young lady. I’m interested in art and watch a lot of art vids and what struck me with this video is how this artist speaks genuinely and calmly about her at. Almost in a matter-of-fact way, no pretense but with passion. You will make it, you need to produce more and find more avenues to showcase your work. You’re being very brave (and I don’t use that term lightly) and noble with what you do. You’re already a great human with what seems to be a lovely life. I will say, perhaps you need to make some pieces that are the kind which can immediately draw people in- think, something that even non-artistically inclined people will find interesting, it’ll be like a catalyst forward. You are young, you have time

    The best way to kill your creativity is to compare yourself to those you find on social media.

    • @johnschoolmeesters
      @johnschoolmeesters 3 місяці тому

      I think finding a balanced relationship with social media as an artist is one of the hardest thing for modern artists to do. Its a great tool for attracting more eyes on your art, but at the same time can take away a lot of the joy found in creating. I think finding that balance is key!

    Im an artist as well, I’ve been painting for over 4 years now. I’ve always been an artist at a young age drawing all the time. I would love to be a full time artist, I get it having a full time job and doing my art after work. I love you’re artwork keep it up keep pushing one day you’re art will be in a gallery. ❤
