FYI baby mannequins absorb water. . . Thank you @slavik_vega for being the comedy star, and @nautilusdivetech for the amazing facility! Dive safely everyone, and have FuN!! . . #padiinstructor #padi #scubadiving #scubapro #ripcurlwetsuits #cabosanlucasmexico
I did this when i tried scuba diving, came out with a huge bogey stuck to my forehead!
What if it’s salt water?
This is the hardest skill to learn for me.
Done this before many times. Kinda scary when in a cavern.
Why do you have a snorkel? Totally pointless.
Is there any actual point to snorkels I understand the purpose it serves but it saves like less than half a second
when i was doing a course dive, a diver overheard knocked my mask off, but i was able to get it back on, no problems
How do you not breath through your nose while having the respirator in your mouth also
Because if you do you die😂😂
You just suck. It's very natural you don't have to think about it. Also, no you wouldn't die.
Wait... why do you even need a scuba mask?? You can open your eyes without it
You can’t see anything with your eyes open underwater. The mask gives you clear sight.
eye protection?, exactly like saying “oh i shouldn’t wear a helmet i wont fall off my bike this time”
Our eyes aren’t made for seeing underwater
Is it possible that you have to sneeze while scuba diving?
Yeah what happens when you sneeze? Biting down on the rebreather has to hurt
@@yotypicalgamer2727biting on the mouth piece can make you ache after a while but only after a long time. Sneezing
Doesn’t really happen much because there shouldn’t be anything in the mask to make you sneeze
my dad taught me that, he was a lifeguard in croatia
This is one of those things that I thought was going to scare the hell out of me until I did it for the first time and discovered it was almost therapeutic to do
The worse part of the training was when the instructor cuts of you air supply from the tank valve so you have to signal your buddy to give you spare breather.
Seeing how many people in the comments didn’t know that is terrifying. One of the first skills they are supposed to teach in Open Water course… PADI needs some major improvements in instructor training and certification procedures.
Mabe cause 75% of these people don't dive? I doubt anyone that has taken a beginner course didn't learn this.
I’d drown so easily trying to do this. 😂
This was the hardest skill for me. Every time I would breath I would suck in a little bit of water through my nose and started to choke. The only way I passed the skill was to plug my nose and do it that way. I still don’t feel comfortable with this and need to practice it without plugging my nose so I am 100% confident
It still stings like hell if you're diving in seawater. Just get used to it and you'll be fine!
I can't open my eyes underwater, so I'd be f*cked.
Cool
Pretty sure just the toothpaste works. You'll have to do a control.
What if it doesn't magically fall into my hands though?
What if your in salt or murky and dirty waters
Wow love water I’m sure I’ll remember this one day grate advice
How am i supposed to open my eyes
I do this all the time when my mask fogs up underwater
I learnt this. Scuba is so coo. I got me license while back. I gotta go again was so fun.
My horrible fear of drowning always makes it so bad when my mask falls off, even though i know that im perfectly fine and I've known how to handle it since i was little. I dont think ill ever get over it, lol
What do you do if water gets in your mouth? Do you just swallow it? Sorry for ignorance inreally ha e no clue. Lol
Stop it
Reminds me of seeing marine training where they had you “embrace the suck” cause you had to deal with a flooded mask
When I see that my question is are YOU new to scubadiving ?
I learned this during my padi license and it’s by far the most terrifying thing for me. Not when I put my respirator upside down and started breathing water and not when I ran out of air. The idea that I could lose my mask is top 1 of fear
We all did this as kids
is this not common sense?
You got the most succulent lips I've ever seen sir
Best way to demonstrate it is neutrally buoyant...not kneeling on the floor, otherwise students end up doing it vertically and swimming up without thinking as they are multi tasking
There is no need to worry about expansion injuries unless you are heading surface otherwise do not waste air.
Most people float as soon as they stop paying full attention because they aren't weighted right nor neutraly buoyant
Why this video came when people searched for Minecraft house Btw why you blurred that a$$ U piece of sh*t
👍🏽 thanks
This was the first thing my suba diver mom taught me when I was like 5
Great advice. I never heard before. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Glad it was helpful! 🤙
Amazing advice! Lots of people need to understand a leak in the mask it's nos the en of the world and you are in control of your situation
Pretty sure that was the first thing i was taught
We all kinda knew the first bit.
How does your brain not hurt when you have water in your nose
Watch my latest video I just posted about training yourself for water getting in your nose. 🤙
Christ is king 👑
Hitmontop
I mastered this at 8 in a pool.
🥇
Yeah I wouldn't make it as a diver. I lost my breath just watching this
You can do it!
This video got “how to put a potato on your head tutorial” vibes
