I just love the imagery in the video. Mark driving a Hillman Minx, a car that's rare here in it's home country, the uk let alone the US. I wonder if Mark owned it. The dalmatian running through the field with wings is so poignant.

I feel everything all the time but I also feel nothing very often I don't know if that makes since but its the best way to explain what I'm feeling at this point in my life I love everything about life and the world and everything i haven't seen but I'm also hateful and negative but i want to experience and see everything because its all so beautiful and amazing but I know i take it all for granted

I remember I just had my wisdom teeth removed and was on pain killers when I saw the news. I didn't know who Sparklehorse was and this was the first song I heard. 14 years later I have all his albums on vinyl. I was hooked in that moment. Mark understood how to utilize the silence spaces in music like no other. His songs sound ghost tapes from the other side.
