Thanks! I haven't explored the river north out of Mabel Lake yet. I currently have an old dji mavic pro using the tracking mode it struggles if I had a pilot it may keep up better. Next upgrade might be a newer drone.

Mabel Lake is located in the interior of British Columbia, Canada. It lies east of the city of Vernon and northeast of the town of Lumby. The lake itself is a part of the Shuswap River system. This trip begins at the south end of the lake, heading upstream to the hydro electricity dam.

@@be.exploringThat looked fun, I bought a jet boat in 1987 to use on Missouri Ozark streams but have used it alot on the Mississippi and Missouri Rivers and at Lake of the Ozarks. I paid 2,500$ back then for the welded 16' johnboat, Evinude outboard with a jetpump lower and a trailer.

U most only look at your rivers in the summer. Go look at high water

Do you understand the difference between a jet pump and a lower unit with a prop. A weekend of floaters, rafters and canoeists do alot more damage to a small stream than a jet boat.

Ya exactly. When sitting theres not really enough angle to see obstacles in the water well, especially at the speed we are usually going not much time to react. Also depends on time of day and where the sun is as well for how well you can see. Polarized Glasses are also a must.

I would recommend the high windshield. It gives you a better break from water and wind. We stand just to see obstacles underwater better usually, even with polarized lenses when sitting its hard to see below the surface

Ya, technically called Shuswap River, out of Mabel to Enderby, that's right. There's a few shuswap rivers, and some call it Enderby River, so you know what part of the shuswap, lol

Just has to be in the boat, not required to wear it

I really do appreciate your concern, you'll like the next video where I'm wearing one. There are about 6 to 8 life jackets under the bow at all times, almost enough to float the boat haha. Enough for any size passenger that may be on the boat and spares to toss to any one in need.

I record a full 360 degree video. Then in the app you can edit the direction and zoom. It has other features like tracking and more. Really easy to use

A lot of variables in final price depending on initial boat kit options, whether you weld/ build it yourself, what engine power plant donor you use, and then finally how far and flashy you want to take the boat with coatings and electronics. Cheap 2 stroke donor and and a basic kit built yourself might be a little over $10k rough finished. On the ether end all fancy and big hp motor $60k ish

Perfect time to get on the water! Where are you out of?

Rides really good! I've 4 adults totalling over 800 pounds. Takes a touch longer and a little more throttle to get on step but cruises same speed. I have a ride plate under the pump nozzle to help push the nose of the boat down, helps a lot when I'm back heavy with people or fishing gear (downriggera and kicker motor)

Hey! It's the insta 360 x3. It's really easy to use and nice to have the 360-degree footage to catch all the action. The phone app is pretty easy to use as well for editing. They just came out with the x4 that can do a little higher resolution, which would help with the zoomed in shots. We will have to get together on the water one day soon!
