Run Across Michigan (RAM), is charity run for those who have fallen and are serving in law enforcement. In Michigan, there have been over 580 fatalities for active duty law enforcement personnel. This 160 mile, solo run from Pontiac (Oakland County Sheriff - Fallen Heroes Memorial) to West Olive (Ottawa County Sheriff - Memorial) is in honor of those who have fallen and actively serving.

Wondering if being bald is a prerequisite? Seems like almost all deputies are bald now.....WTF?? Does that help you out during testing or what? Or is it to just look cool? (some men do NOT look good bald. look like chemo or radicals....just saying) Grow your dam hair back....if you can.

When are the kent county sheriff's going to learn jiu-jitsu training to take down criminals? I'd like to see them learn that skill, it can be life saving and reduce the use of deadly force. There is a great place in Byron Center, MI called Black Lion Jiu Jitsu Academy. The Owner, Chad Pomeroy is an Army Veteran and well trained in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. www.blacklionjiujitsu.com/
