I am a Wyoming based blue collar songwriter who loves the music I play and the people I get to play it for.

Look for this song on streaming platforms in October 2024. I will provide a link as soon as it is available. “ it’s may not be my best performance, but I love the song and I enjoy the railroad culture that inspired me to write it. Shout out to the blue collar men and women that make this country and the world go round!”
Almost didn’t make it to my Gig… or back from it!

Love your voice, I find it soothing! ❤😊
Omg this is incredible!!! 🤩🤩
Thanks!
Sounds great man!
@@haydenmarlowe thanks so much man!
Sounding good! I feel like haven’t caught your vids lately, nice to see ya !
Have posted much in a while so I’m trying to catch back up!
Good song!
So sad :(
thinking someone in 2024 thinking they may die sitting in their electric car can't imagine how they would have survived life 100 years ago
Yes, you are a musician. That is the life of a musician. My son has many such stories and has gone through more cars than is good for his continued ability to pay his rent. Keep praying.
There's no such thing as almost dying. Selling your soul to the devil through UA-cam is a real thing though.
Yep. Those electric water pumps will do that. Having to regularly purge and replace when needed.
Praise the Lord you made it home safe!
Love the tape. Feedback with pickup or trying to isolate the vocals?
lol yeah it’s for feedback. Turns out its really hard to get those mic pickups to sound good without it.
Looking forward to the EP coming out!
Me too man!
Much luck to ya!!
Thanks! I appreciate the support!
Very inspiring to hear some of your new songs
Thank you very much! Can’t wait to officially release them.
I’m a lyricist/rapper primarily. I’ve been having a really bad lack of inspiration over the past year, mostly due to me moving twice and life throwing curveballs, makes me question what else I could be doing to be happy instead of being miserable at the fact I don’t WANT to write, because every time I do sit down to try it’s just a gigantic wall. Feels worse than the average day/session writers block. Just struggling to feel inspired, because I’ve never had writers block for entire seasons of time. I also run a podcast and that’s been giving me all of my creative joy, so I guess I’ve been following your advice before even seeing this lol If any of this makes sense, idk but 😅 anyway just putting my thoughts down. Great video and good advice, man, looking forward to checking your music out if you have any out there.
Thanks! Sorry to hear you’ve had such a long stretch of block. I can’t really rap but i have a lot of respect for those who can, so I hope this season doesn’t last long for you. Glad your podcast is helping though!
Looking forward to following along as you reach your goals! Also, long black train fits your voice very well.
Thanks man!
I’m enjoying following your journey... I’m on a journey myself... albeit a slightly different one. As I’m almost 60, and have only been seriously trying to learn to play in recent years. My plan is to be up to “gigging” speed by the time I retire... so that I can supplement my retirement income w music... it seems like a pretty lofty goal right now, but that’s what I’m aiming for.. lol .... best of luck to you in reaching your goal...
It means a lot to me that you watch these videos! Thanks and best of luck to you in your journey to gigging. I’m sure you’ll be there sooner than you think!
Sometimes the first take is the best…sounds great
One take, no edits! I was testing out a new a bought and decided to record this one!
You will succeed! Just keep going…❤ don’t forget me when you become superstar.. just saying 😂@hoff1086
lol thanks! I’ll always remember you bro!
I do this too... sometimes getting it in the moment is just right
One take, no edits wasn’t planning on posting today but felt right.
Interesting... I was wondering about wagon wheel at “festivals” , as you started to play it, I guess that’s how festival organizers handle popular songs like that, they just say “no”.. rather than trying to decide which band can play it.. which I guess makes sense with hugely popular songs like that, otherwise you’d have every band doing their versions of it all nite long..lol
Yeah from now on I’m asking every venue if there are any off limits songs!
Sounding great! You have a great voice for this song.
Wow that was good! Not sure what you did differently but your voice came through much clearer and crisper than the last one
Thanks! lol yeah I sat closer to the camera!
I’m a writer myself always looking for songs that resonate, this one is one of those that has the it that you look for in a story portrayed through a few chords and few words to say a lot. You’ve done so in my opinion, I’d love to put a melody over this with an acoustic. This is a great song. Glad I found this. What key are you in and tuning?
This some how showed up on my homepage for UA-cam, glad it did, this is good shit. Keep on keeping on. Can I find you on any music streaming services (specifically Spotify?)
good song man
Thanks, it’s a special one
you got a real nice voice, i like this
I appreciate you saying that!
Good job!
Thank you! Cheers!
your voice is amazing.!!
Thank you so much! That means a lot
@hoff1086 np! You did really well and deserve recognition.
Love this ❤
Thanks!
Good to see ya. Hope you don’t take it so seriously that your videos end up with all the “human” side edited out. Tons of super talented musicians on UA-cam, but there’s only one “you”.. so when your sons laughter creeps into a video just leave it in... it’s a part of who you are and that’s why people will follow you... ( that’s just this average guys two cents) ... great channel, enjoying the journey
I actually really appreciate that. I do want to be authentic but it’s hard to not get caught up in the “perfect picture” culture. Sincerely, thank you for the encouragement.
@@hoff1086 yup I understand “perfect picture culture” lol.. I’m a firm believer that perfection is overrated..🤣 my videos are proof of that 🤣🤣🤣… I base all my content on being average… which is one of the many reasons I’ll never make it on UA-cam… 😂😂. but you sir, are on the right track! Keep up the good work.! 😎👍🏻
Yo. What kind of music you play ?
Lots of country and folk. Some Rock and mixes other stuff. You?
No gimmicks here.. just a guy and a guitar with a nice relaxed style.. I like that you’re not trying to be anyone other than yourself ..very nice .. keep on keepin on !
That means a lot. Thank you.
Nice vocal, nice playing… well done!
I always enjoy channels like yours.. new sub … looking forward to following your journey…
Thanks glad to have you along for the ride!
Can you tell us more about that guitar you built? It looks awesome!
Sure! I’ll add it into my next vlog.
Truth
What resources did you find most helpful when researching making a hybrid guitar?
Crimson Guitars on UA-cam was great for shaping the body. I’m always paying attention to construction and pickup configurations in acoustic guitars so I guess that’s what I would recommend.
@@hoff1086 thanks for that info!
