What do you use in the beginning of video to smooth the joints between the tiles?
Hi there! She uses our Smart Jointer. It's a material specifically designed to cover grout lines between tiles so that the surface becomes smooth before applying microcement.
Can this be placed directly onto a painted (keyed) wall?
If the paint is in proper condition, no problem.

What plywood is best to apply this on ? And do I have to put anything underneath it or on it ?
Hello! ☺ You can apply our microcement on any plywood. The most important thing is that the surface is even and without imperfections. Moreover, it is not necessary to put anything on top. Our microcement is applied directly on the existing surface.
