Welcome! Thank you for being here. This channel is to document all the things I've done in my life and how I was either TOTALLY INSPIRED or TOTALLY INFLUENCED by the internet or other form of media and the effect it has had on me. What have I learned by doing these things and what can you learn from joining me on this journey? Follow along if you'd like. I hope to be a positive influence to everyone here.
HOBBY LOBBY SHOP WITH ME | WHAT'S NEW IN JUNE 2024?
It has been a while, but I'm back with a shop with me video. Today's shop with me is at Hobby Lobby.
Wondering what's new in June 2024? Well, let's say it's all things cozy! Whaaaaaat?! Surprised? I was! I usually only shop for what I need when I need it and don't think much about what's coming out, but as an aspiring UA-camr, I'm starting to see shopping experiences in a whole new way. My husband, who has worked in retail for almost 25 years, was also surprised by what I found.
Come along and see what I've found. Hope you enjoy this shop-along!

Sublimation is a fun way to preserve so many memories. Inspiration from @JenniferMaker, @AngieHolden and @DesignBundles Thanks to all of them for their awesome tutorials. I aspire to be them someday, haha! I love how creative they are. In case you are wondering, I use the Hiipoo sublimation ink in my Epson ET-4800 printer that I converted to a sublimation printer. The mousepad sublimation pad w...
WALL HANGINGS WITHOUT SCREWS - COMMAND STRIPS FOR THE WIN!
Переглядів 4410 місяців тому
I hate putting holes in my wall because I can't patch them up well, even with textured walls that seem more forgiving of repairs. I have been using Command Strips since 2015 and with a lot of trial and error, including things falling off the walls, I figured it out and have been successfully using them in so many areas of my house. No, I don't use them for EVERYTHING, but I do use them for MOST...
I MADE A T-SHIRT FOR A LOVING DOG MOM!
Переглядів 2810 місяців тому
I don't have a dog myself, but I want one! This was made as a gift. I have always gifted things from the heart and this was one of the things I created for a dear friend of mine (like my sister) just because. Would love to hear what you've made for yourself or a friend or family member as a crafter.

I DROVE 13 HOURS FOR A SHOPPING EXPERIENCE AT IKEA!
Переглядів 1,8 тис.10 місяців тому
Call me crazy! Yes, I drove 13 hours round trip, just to go to IKEA one last time in 2023! I get so much inspiration from being there. However, I do not have one near me. The 2 closest to me are Seattle, WA (8 hours one way) or Draper, Utah (5 hours one way). And because I just HAD TO GO and COULD NOT wait to be in Seattle again for work, I made a call - 5 hours one way it is! I made a list, ch...
CROCKPOT CHICKEN & DUMPLINGS - GREAT WINTER RECIPE
Переглядів 17110 місяців тому
I have been inspired by so many people on UA-cam for recipes. This one comes from @JuliaPacheco. I didn't quite follow her recipe because I was in a rush, but it turned out great. Here's the link to watch her video (ua-cam.com/video/I54YR02LYsE/v-deo.htmlsi=vZ0T_Q1hPo2C5a3G) and her recipe is shared below. Mine is slightly altered. Be careful when you're adding pepper, I accidentally dumped way...
Hot Chocolate Kits - Gift Wrapping 2023 - Mele Kalikimaka Friends
Переглядів 2010 місяців тому
Although this is a late post, coming out on Christmas Day instead of before, hopefully it serves as inspiration for future gifting throughout the year. Or maybe you want to do something like this for gifts next year. Mug kits have been a hit for everyone I've made for. They can be hot cocoa (or tea) kits, or small little birthday gifts with a witty saying. Just throw together a few small items ...
TIKTOK SHOP IMPULSE BUY - THE UNBRUSH?
Переглядів 2610 місяців тому
A lot of late night scrolling lands me in some hot water with impulse buys. The UNBRUSH is supposed to be an easier way to untangle your hair - wet or dry. I hate brushing my hair so sometimes it gets pretty knotted. I watched a couple of videos and didn't believe it, so of course, had to buy it to try it for myself. Is this UNBRUSH worth it? Watch and find out. Let me know if you've considered...

STANLEY CUP - TIKTOK SHOP - DEAL OR NO DEAL?
Переглядів 17 тис.11 місяців тому
The STANLEY CUP - are you a lover, hater, or just meh? I've never been one to jump on trending items and didn't really care about owning one of these. I drink room temp water so a gifted Starbucks cup with a straw is fine for me. That is, until, my cousin asked me to keep my eye out for deals and I started looking. Well, as you know when you're scrolling through TikTok, ads pop up, that I got s...

I love u and thank you because the batteries had me looking craxy
why do you guys play with the box just open it
I’m the I don’t care category 😂😂😂 but my daughter got me one she said welcome to the Stanley family 😅😂😂
These are both fake lol
Thanks! Haha.
Yes, both are fake. With real Stanley’s the top of the handle will be touching or almost touching the chrome, the logo will be within an inch of the chrome, the recycle symbol will be at the bottom of the inside of the cup, the straw will match the lid and will not be wrapped in plastic (ex. clear lid=clear straw), the writing on the bottom of the cup won’t be underlined, Stanley boxes do not have a color swatch on them, a brand new Stanley cup typically isn’t less than the retail price (30 ounce $35, 40 oz $45 some limited editions are higher). Those are some ways to identify whether a cup is a real or fake Stanley. I hope that helps. 😊
Thank you! :)
i always order from stanley sight they are a bit bulky. i ended up buying my mom a fake. she doesn't care though she loves it. may I suggest the iceflow and drop to 30 oz they are easier to handle
Lots of people love them. It's interesting how it became a thing. I'll take a look at the smaller ones to see if they're easier to use. Thank you for the suggestion. :)
Great presentation. Thanks
Thank you!
両方とも偽物です!!!
They're pretty good fakes. Do they keep your drink cold for long?
They do hold cold for a while in my testing. But, I only use them for water and I drink my water at room temp so not very useful for me besides that they hold a lot of water. Haha.
nice video.. I have one too I've never had the fan turn on . is it because it was on for a long time ?
Thank you. I'm not sure what that was. Maybe outside noise that sounded like a fan? I've never heard anything unusual while using it. :)
I got both of my Stanley's from Dick's Sporting Goods and one of mine has a frosted straw and my other one has a clear straw. And Stanley makes both.
Thank you. :)
Same
I’m sorry to tell you they are both fake. The first one has the wrong straw. If the lid is frosted, the straw matches. If the lid is clear, they’re both clear. Additionally the straws never come in plastic sleeves. The paper around it shouldn’t come off easily. The handle on the beige one is too low. Again the straw being wrapped separately is another giveaway. I just want to stress to anyone reading this-the cup is $45 for the 40oz. Everywhere, Williams Sonoma, REI, Dick’s Sporting Goods, Scheels… they’re all the same. Ask yourself: Why would TikTok shop cost so much less?
Thank you for the info. I figured they would be, but when I got them and they seemed pretty solid, I thought I may have gotten lucky. Guess not! Haha. I don't regret it though. It gave me a chance to try them out. Now I'll be getting rid of them. They're too bulky for my liking.
Hello, can i have your instagram? I wanna send you pictures of my quencher to help me know if it’s fake or original, can you please?
Mentality ill society
Mentality ill society
Nice use of but it was on sale and I had a gift card to soften the blow. I've used that one a few times to talk myself into buying something.
Haha, yes, I do that kind of thing all the time! They're justified purchases.
Both are Stanley replicas, just one is a better replica than the other. I'm sure they both will serve the same purpose as an authentic Stanley, just with a much better price point.
Thank you. I decided I don't like them. They're too bulky and when full really top heavy and easy to accidentally tip over.
The handle on the cream cup is lower than the handle on the pink cup.
Ooh, good eye! Didn't catch that one.
I have a Stanley cup and everything is good but the straw is frosted plz tell me if it’s fake 😭😭😭😭
What @DominiqueBurrow said. I didn't see the water bottle on the inside so both are fake I guess. Do you see it on yours? I'm curious too! :)
Thank you, you're the first one to tell me what to really look for! Now I'm going to check everyone's cups, lol!
Stanley does both straws
What is she comparing? Which one is fake?
I was comparing the 2 that I bought. Off camera, I had a friend who bought hers from Stanley's website to see if she could spot a difference and tell me if was real. She couldn't and told me I probably had a real one. I made the video to do a side by side of what I bought to see if anyone could tell me if I had a real one or not. Apparently, they're both fake, but now I know what to look for to spot a real one thanks to one of the commenters - a water bottle with arrows on the inside at the bottom. :)
👍❤️❤️❤️
The TikTok shops are fake ones.
How would one spot an authentic vs. a fake? I know there are subtle differences that someone can look for with certain brands (such as high end purses), but how do I know with this brand? Are the ones at Target fake too? I compared mine to a friends that bought it directly from Stanley's website and we both could not find a difference on the pink one I bought. Thanks for the info.
@@totallyinspired_1 honestly I’ve seen a lot of people post about getting fakes from that shop. Yours could be real. The main thing about the fakes is the handle is in a lower position on the cup. Stanley handle lines up perfectly with the edge of the silver at the top. Others I’ve seen are dropped below it. Hope that helps.
The price you paid for 40 ounce cups has ne wondering because the 40 ounce cups are $45
I'm still wondering myself, lol
wonder if you brought your cups on sale or used
my 30oz cup cost $35.00 from amazon stanley website
Are they the original?
Guess not! I was told to look at the bottom of the inside to see if there's a water bottle with arrows. Neither of mine have that.
I’ve gone twice this week and forgot paper towels! Keep staying inspired! P.s I love bacon crumbles!
Will do!! Thank you to the "woman across the room!" :)
Love my new heat press!
I do too!
Great video. I'm just starting out and like that you didn't make it seem complicated! Thank you so much!
Thank you! I'm still learning as I go. I watch people and just go for it! Haha! It usually works out just fine. It's a lot of fun to create things with your own hands.
You did a good a job, and the auto heat press did a good as well!
Thank you so much!
The auto heat press really does great in heat pressing! love it!
Agree!
The one thing I don't like about it is that the power button still blinks when it's turned off. Unplugging after every use is inconvenient because of where the outlet is located.
Agreed. That was one of the things that I also didn't like. My solution to that was to put a surge protector on top of my desk just behind it so it's much easier to plug it and other things on my desk in. I use command strips on the back of the surge protector to help keep it in place. It does the trick. It also helps to not have to crawl under desks and tables to plug or unplug things.
How much did this cost I need to print my own is Amazon best selling a heat press?
They're about $250. I bought mine from Amazon, but you can order it directly from their website too. Good luck!
Hope you have better luck than I did. Mine quit 15 days past the 1 yr. Was offered $50. Not acceptable to me. I feel should have lasted longer. Buyer beware!
Oh geez, sorry to hear that. That wouldn't be acceptable to me either. Hope you found a suitable replacement.
Really love t he HTVRONT auto heat press! Thanks for your sharing!
Thanks for watching!
i have a black stanley and i love it and first
That's awesome. I decided to keep them since I drink a lot of water. Figured, I can just have them around all the time, haha. Am I right in my guess that I have a real and a fake one?
😄MG.....scored Black Friday deal in blue...now rearranging sewing station to begin spring 2024 designs....Nice tutorial.
Oh, darn, I wanted the blue! Nice! Thank you for watching.
I just purchased one and wanted the white one! But they were sold out and just had blue😊, but white came back in stock. So just waiting for it to arrive. Can't wait to try it!
I wish I got the blue one, but white it pretty and sleek looking. Blends into my office nicely. Hope you like it! :)
@@totallyinspired_1 tested a few different sample DTFs and really like it. Learning a few tricks/hacks. Just have to get my designs on some DTFs and test them. Can't wait!
I got some sample DTFs and tried them all on a shirt. Some were better than others. I bought the DTF powder and sheets to print on, but haven't tried it yet.
Thank you!! For this video. I ordered mine yesterday. I will come back to let you know how i like it 😊 I definitely subscribed.
Thank you so much for subscribing! Yes, please follow up and tell me what you think. I'd love to see what you create too.
I ordered one last week when it went on sale too but returned it yesterday. Didn’t even open it. Just to nervous about the pressure for DTF. I do a lot of hoodies too and that seems to be an issue to. I’ll probably grab one again sometime time just for shirts and vinyl stuff
I haven't tried it for DTF yet. I plan to, but haven't found the right project. I have used it for shirts and sweaters doing sublimation and vinyl and think they turned out much better than I did with the hand heat press. I could see it being an issue with a hoodie - you'd have to do it from the side. I like the drawer slider, but limiting if you there's a lot of bulk around it. It's a great table top press overall and I'm happy with it for the price. :)
OMG. SAME! It's just sitting there. I emailed them today to try and return mine. Still waiting to hear from them. :(
Love mine! Does everything I want it to do!
I do too! I've made some mistakes, but figuring it out as I go. :)
I purchased one and love it; thanks for the tutorial
I do too, thank you for watching! I'll get better at teaching. I'm learning by doing and hoping to inspire people who are just starting out like I am. Never thought I'd enjoy crafting as much as I have. :)
Use an extra heat press pad it’ll give you more pressure
Thank you. I actually bought a thicker silicone pad to use with it. I thought it would work better for my bookmarks and puzzles to have a firmer surface, but didn't seem to work. Still playing with it to get the right settings for different items. Any other suggestions? :)
I thought it’s supposed to automatically adjust the pressure for you?
Technically, it's supposed to, but doesn't work great for all projects. I added a silicone pad to mine to get it to be more firm. This worked better on my puzzle and bookmark blanks, but eventually found that doing those by hand worked best. Just have to play around with it to see what works and what doesn't.
Hi, mine was delivered today, but I haven't unboxed it yet. 😊
You're going to love it. Do a video too! I'd love to see what you think.
Good Luck with your new heat press. I have not used mine yet. It looks easy.
Thank you. I actually really love it, which I guess I didn't say in my video. Still new to this. Haha. I'm just learning how to use it for different projects.
