My closest (only at the time) friend passed away unexpectedly when I was 24 and she was 23. She struggled with addiction for years and we would go long periods of time without contact because I had been sober for a long time. This song got me through all of it. Helping her mother off the floor, assisting the arrangements, packing her home. Walking her urn down the steps. It took over 2 years before i could listen to this song again when everything was said and done because it was coincidentally the last song/album I showed her about a week before her passing. Never underestimate the power of music, or the love for those around you. Have a blessed day❤
jonnys guitar version, of this is so good, bonnero, i think🤔🤔
Can’t understand how one band can be so genius, especially Yorke!
يا ربك غنية تاريخ
R.I.P. Mom, I miss u so much.😢🙏
Nice presentation.
"The Faust reference also applies; his most perfect day was when he died, as he found out how beautiful life was."
My memorial must include this song.💙💙💙
I hope you can all find beauty in sadness there is nothing weird about being sad… find God and your purpose. Kill your purpose
Please explain.
Hi please turn on subtitle, or read description. I'm not speaking english well enough
I turn to this song every times life beats me up and depression kicks me and I wish I'll be dead under the ground. It is so evoking the suicide that it simply soothes you to stay calm and reflect: life is deadly, but beautiful, somehow
This sounds like such a simple song but if you listen to all the parts separately it's one of the most complex and technical songs you will ever hear. Every instrument, including his voice, is in it's own separate tempo and time signature and the beat is off of the end of the 1st quarter beat... It must be hell to play, but worth it when you pull it off... Beautiful song...
Sorry no one commented..i think its just that there's no argument for what your saying or anything to add. Its truly a complex song.
The end of the first quarter beat…I missed that. I read ur comment and said Yes, exactly! Thanks😊
D850 or z9 choose any one plz
Grief
Fuck your CoMuNiTY gUIdELiNes
recommendation brought me here.
porque creo siempre que los temas de radiohead hablan sobre el suicidio jaja
nah exageras casi todos sus temas no hablan sobre eso, solo algunos y no lo hace de manera literal
Nice thumbnail... most beautiful (saddest) part of the song
Also, strange words.. But i believe the lyric is "He's a little bitch comin outa him"
Anyone researched a meaning behind this one?
MASTERPIECE
Thank you
One of their more foreboding songs IMO. I love the feeling of dread.
Thank you, that is golden information to teach
Cheating.. How are able to record its voice that far away??
Atleast say a word to explain
Hi please turn on subtitle, or read description. I'm not speaking english well enough but it was interasted when I finde out this thing. So I shared mybe someone know why it is heppening.
can you compare this lens to a compact x30 zoom camera with extended zoom function like panasonic zs series?
Alex K a 30 times optical zoom camera normally has a max reach of around 800mm in 35mm terms, a 50 times has the equivalent of around 1200mm, so it'd take a 50x bridge camera to get this close, but you'd have image stabilisation on that so I'd say the end result would be about the same. The bridge may cope with movement in the lens camera shake slightly better.
Compact point and shoot would be better. Autofocus and sharper.
I also made a review of this lens. Check it out here! ua-cam.com/video/fH6bIu1Tbys/v-deo.html
Chutiya video
wow
Really good video for the price. The only thing is the wind. What about a sand bag or the like and lay down the lens on it after focus was set? Also put another sand bag ontop of the lens :-)
The D600 is FX (Full frame sensor), there is no Crop factor. Put it on any crop sensor, get rid of the Teleconverter for no light or quality loss.
Słabo zagrane
not sharp
What do you expect for $169? Zeiss?
To be fair it did a pretty good job, any lens at such focal length would be blurred because the light waves are disturbed by particles, water vapor and heat waves far before they get to your lens.
What camera?
nikon D600
Iv'e seen images produced by this lens. Not at all good. Chromatic aberration is awful. I would much rather save my money for a sharper, faster lens. That's just me tho.
that's right .. try sigma telephoto it is amazing and super sharp
HEHE !! I just bought sigma 150-600mm sport (black friday, forward christmas). I will upload here same spot same settings video to compare :) ( I uploded this video because this way people can see the image quality, so they not buy this Optek lens)
soosgabor100 ok show me ..because i am planning to have it or sigma 500mm prime
If I have free time I'll do. But I already can say the sigma 150-600 S better them nikon 24-300mm yesterday I had some picture to test. I'm satisfied!!
soosgabor100 ah you says it is amazing lens not bad lens , i though you did not like it and you compare it with opteka , i thing there is no compression faces between expensive lenses and cheap one , it is rare to find something cheap and good quality but i found in ND filters , i found Andoer ND filter is have quality as LEE and zero color cast specially ND1000 (10 stops ) which is tends to color cast in most filters , also there is amazing filter called Camdiox , it is super coated and made in Germany .. wow ,what a filter , amazing glass
Missing you as always, my dear departed Vinny <3<3<3
Before I die, I want to record myself speaking my last words with love to the people I care about so they have something to look at and to remember how much they meant to me. That they will never be alone and that I'll be by their side in spirit (or at least memory) when they need support. That they are lovable, they are loved, that they were and are perfect to me.
I'm almost 19, I've had several close instances with death and I've lost too many loved ones. This comment made me cry beyond belief. With so much loss in life, there's nothing more important than who I love. I never go a day without telling people I love them because I couldn't let anyone have any doubt that I love them enough to sacrifice my life for theirs. It's the fear of loss while the urge to love and hold all the marbles and protect them. When I die, I want to know I had people love me a fraction of what I did and have a video naming every loved one and tell them every detail and every small anecdote in my memory. Your comment made me cry so much. I hope you live many years because somewhere in this world, your videotape will be seen and you will be loved.
Yes!
This song is basically my lullaby
i have a Lumix 100-300mm and I cant focus anything zoomed in at 300mm, always soft, like this video of the crane...
is it a cheapo kit type lens?
love it
breathtaking
When it´s all bad and seems to be not far from over, I wait here for a miracle...
Thankyou
a question , I wonder if this lens is do focal length , ie , fixed 650mm and 1300 fixed , or the focal length varies between 600 and 1300mm , is if I can take pictures say a 700mm , 800mm , 950mm and so on. I wonder which is the quality of the images obtained with this lens, thanks in advance
+marlon rocha Hi. The lens is variable between 650 up to 1300mm. So you can set up any number between. But it is NOT easy! you have to unscrew and push or pul, after rotate the ring to fix the zoom therefore it is obviously You have to set up first for the shot.
how far away was this bird from you?
70 meter 230 feet
In an interview with the New Musical Express December 8, 2007, Thom Yorke talked about the recording of this song about a dying man saying goodbye to loved ones on old-fashioned videotape: “We would have these days where there were big breakthroughs and then suddenly… no. ‘Videotape’ to me was a big breakthrough, we tried everything with it. One day I came in and decided it was going to be like a fast pulse-like a four to the floor thing and everything was going to be built from that. We threw all this stuff at it. But then a couple of months later I went out and came back and Jonny and (the producer) Nigel Godrich had stripped it back. He had this bare bones thing, which was amazing.” Thom Yorke expanded on the recording of this song in an interview with Mojo Magazine February 2008: “We were looking for something that had a real effect on us, an emotional impact, and that happened when we were doing ‘Videotape’ and I was semi kicked out of the studio for being a negative influence. Stanley (Donwood who did the album’s artwork) and I came back a bit worse for wear at about 11 in the evening and Jonny and Nigel had done this stuff to it that reduced us both to tears. It completely blew my mind. They’d stripped all the nonsense away that I’d been piling onto it, and what was left was this quite pure sentiment.”
Awesome story. I love this song. Powerful.
Thank you for sharing 😊
Agree with 84photodude. Thanx for the clip btw...
Considering the price and quality of the footage, it doesn't seem like a bad purchase. Thanks for sharing the video.
