Knob Studio - How Is Made

In this video, I explain how Knob Studio is built. I focus on the main technologies used: gen~ and JavaScript.
I show how gen~ handles the audio processing in Knob Studio, making it possible to create and manipulate complex waveforms in real-time. You'll see some examples of how gen~ code works in the device.

Hi, this looks pretty awesome! How is it on the CPU though? Ableton's native modulators (LFO, Shaper, etc.) are pretty terrible, quickly pushing my laptop to its knees :(

Thanks for the breakdown! Looking into the javascript suggestion as I myself am trying to mod a maxforlive device but find it insanely hard to do with without max spagetthi.

this device is inspiring and well made! also looks so good :) can I put two advices/requests? 1) if possible, make more controls automatable (like the amplitude on the individual waveforms channels) 2) an expandable modulation routing. 6 is nice but 12 would be better ;)
I'll look into it, actually it's not that straightforward to make everything mappable because of the randomization stuff! I need to find a way (or cycling should haha)
