Our View on Slack in the Company (Q&A by Enuda)
Переглядів 249 місяців тому
This may be a bit controversial, but our billability is not at 100%, meaning that we don't assign 100% of our team's time to client work. We keep a certain percentage of slack in the company, which represents time for learning, testing, and fixing problems that move us forward as a business. Find out more at www.enuda.eu

He uses a different analogy in the video, but to add another one more relevant to manufacturing: just think of the requirements the EU ...

How do you explain OEE as a metric for continuous improvement? We want to use OEE and other KPIs to improve something: a process, behaviour etc. For that, we need data that we can turn into reliable information. In the video, we use an analogy to explain our current thinking regarding that. How to get started: 1. Agree on the definitions. 2. What kind of data do you have? What and why do you ca...

Thank you for the explanation however it sounds a bit crazy that you need to build your own custom database when selling a scada system. Should we understand that you’ll record data into your database ? What about performances throughout the time ? a relational database isn’t made to store volume of data ? I suppose then you use an purge and archive tool … what about redundancy if the ignition provider is down ? And if your machine embedding the database is down what are the mechanisms to buffer the data ? Will this support late data ? Do you provide tools to overwrite data from csv, txt or html files ?
