Wearing sunglasses and earplugs helps me in the store sometimes :) maybe it will help u not get so exhausted from shopping. Im trying to do better about my sensory needs because i typically push myself through it till im totally overwhelmed and shut down.

this is why I always have my headphones to block out all the auditory overstimulation. tinted glasses help with the bright lights too.

I love your videos!! I would love to see some book related videos like a reading vlog or book recommendations ☺️. It would also be cool if you could make a video on one of your special interests/hyperfixations. Keep up the good work ❤️

Were you verbal as a kid? I was non verbal until 4, when my brother was beginning to talk. I've had smell, texture, noise and light sensory issues for as long as i can remember, though being AuDHD is a struggle - sensory seeking but too loud/bright/flavourful whatever. just curious! my mom got me assessed as a kid for aspergers but i didn't "pass" as i was raised to be socially acceptable and made excellent eye contact all the way through. My mom told me at 21, after being diagnosed with ADHD, and the research started. Love cashew <3 best of luck with the new place!

I love this! Thank you for sharing your experience. It's really hard to find autism content that isn't parents raising kids with autism. It feels really othering as a newly discovered autistic person. I love this!! Instantly subscribed

I am autistic also I'm 21 years old when I watched your video I literally said to myself that's so me this video was very helpful because I be trying to tell people what I go through and and they don't understand or just don't have a interest in what I try to explain to them when I was 18 it was even harder because whenever I tried to express what I need help with they try to pressure me to do the opposite of what I can't do and it gets stressful and sometimes If I can't understand something like if I am signing something or trying to talk to a medical professional they always get bothered when I say I don't understand or if I say something simple like can you please be specific they give me a weird look even with filing out some forms they looked at me weird when I would ask my grandma to help me with the forms also interacting with people especially in public like there were two women one of them I met on the train and I was sitting down listening to music because it calms me down and I use it as a coping mechanism she walked up to me and asked for my phone number and then I asked for her phone number and then everytime I tried contacting her she would avoid me or say I was annoying and sometimes I feel it's my fault because I wasn't understanding social clues or boundaries or when to stop texting and calling so she ended up blocking me and ghosting me and I felt really depressed after that then I met this woman at trader Joe's and she seemed to like me because everytime she saw me she would always start a conversation and reserve me a spot in line I didn't ask her out because of communication issues and being introverted and also I don't normally ask women out on dates because of fear of what they might think of me these when it comes to dating I have struggled more with dating just because of a lot of the problems that come with being autistic and as much as I try to fit in and hide my autism it still seems to come out and it scares people away from me also trying to make friends was harder because i got bullied alot or taken advantage of this has led me to self isolate and also I've been a victim of violence by my own family members I've been abandoned and neglected by my own family members so trust me you have my full support and I'm here for you you already have a new subscriber

I agree too. I would advice to not push them in too deep. You start to her sounds in your body and the earplug slightly moving

They aren't easily accessible though, some people can't afford them. Luckily there are cheaper brands that offer the same features!
