🇲🇾 Pinnacle Kart - Hot Lap - 51.323 | NEW Tillotson T4 Kart
The 🇲🇾 Malaysian Karting Track Tour Series 2024 continues with a return to Pinnacle Kart, Subang.
If there's one complain I have about this track is that the SODI RX8s were just way too slow for such a nice layout.
When I learnt the guys recently brought in the Tillotson T4 Karts, I had to give it another shot.
It's mind boggling that THIS was my fastest lap of the day. Missed a couple of apexes, throttle all over the place. I left the track that day feeling extremely frustrated because I just couldn't get the hang of this kart + track combo.
Need to go back and improve! Will definitely return to Pinnacle to clean up this mess I left behind.

3rd track of our 🇲🇾 Malaysian Karting Track Tour Series 2024 - @evoltkarting is a beast of a facility. They truly are setting the bar for how a track should be run. The track itself is TIGHT! Going in blind to a brand new pop-up circuit at Marina Bay. What better way to learn the track quickly than to tail a member of the staff. Lap time system is still being set up. Did you lift before turn 1? Is it the same for the following turns?
I actually braked at T1. Most of my faster friends just lift. But my style is late braking and brake as hard as possible. May not always be the best.

@@wanimran6422 Keep pushing! Once you step into a 125cc for the first time, be patient. Slowly build up your speed. Don't go full beans on the first lap itself.

Thanks a lot! I appreciate it! About telemetry - So the one thing I love about going with GoPro is that it comes with GPS that gives me all that data. The one thing I hate about going with GoPro is that it only works like 2/10 times for me. 🥲

When was this track opened? Because I went to Singapore for the Singapore Grand Prix in November and I’m pretty sure it wasn’t there when I was in Singapore
It was a temporary setup. Opened in mid December. And they just closed early this week.

How u got the speedometer and the map tracking
Through the GoPro editing app. I THINK they use the GoPro's internal GPS tracking to get the data. Not 100% sure. But in the app it's as simple as adding a sticker. Not 100% reliable though. My latest video at KF1 Expo, it didn't work.
