I have constant sinus problem and I have devated spectrum doctors recommend me to have a surgery but I don't have a breathing problem. I just constant sinus that goes away a bit than comes back. is surgery worth it ?

I heard now as part of the package u stay there for two weeks to a month n the surgery center has suites like a resort youstay in for post op care n healing to ensure ur okay. The other issue is even with insurance it’s so expensive in the US it’s criminal!!!! For me to get a deviated symptom corrected. I have to pay the surgeon 4 grand then the hospital from $4k to 18,000 which I won’t even know the price till after the procedure. If I want to get the small bump on the bridge of my nose corrected, that’s another 8000 to the surgeon. I live in south jersey 10 minutes from Philly n it would be at Cooper hospital in Camden Nj. When I had state insurance because I didn’t have a job, the deviated septum was absolutely zero cost to me. From what I know the insurance companies are more at fault than the physicians either way western medicine and first world countries is out of control with the pricing

Not true! Takes much longer & it is major surgery, you get cut & put back together, stitches & even though you’re not under general anesthesia, it lasts over 2 hours. So just know when you get into it, it’s a major surgery.

Everyone has it ! Women have a smaller one than men but when a woman is skinny and has a slim neck, her Adam’s apple will be more prominent. Also women with thyroid issues. Nothing to do with testosterone.

This share is for those who are considering getting this procedure. I am in my 50s and I've never ever even seen the inside of an operating room. So to say i was a little skeptical about the whole process is an understatement. I had fear of getting this procedure and my fears were from walking out of the door surgery room with bad eyesight up to possibly dying because of the anesthesia. I spent so many sleepless nights before this procedure wondering if I should do it or not . One thing I can advise to you is of course do your research find out which process works best for you internal or external Lower Blepharoplasty (which was the procedure I had done). However ultimately you have to have total confidence in your surgeon. To be completely transparent when I came out of the operating room the very next day besides the stitching I looked amazing. However a few days later I got something called chemosis which basically means an excessive amount of swelling around the eyes. If you saw me a few days after the procedure you either felt like crying for me or running away from me because it was very scary looking. What's great is my Surgeon and his staff were extremely supportive and to help me heal and look back to normal and now two months later I declare the whole process extremely successful. My before and after pictures are like night and day. I look so much better and healthier and I feel great looking into the mirror. So I say these words to you because I know how you feel and I'm sure you may be on the fence whether to do this or not. I cannot tell you to do it or not to do it. All I can say is do your homework do your research and of course have ultimate confidence in your surgeon. All the best to you my friend I trust you'll make the best decision for yourself.

Hey folks. I’m not saying ENS isn’t a thing or that we should blindly trust doctors, but getting medical advice from UA-cam comments is really not so smart. Maybe get some info to talk to a doctor about, but if you trust UA-cam comments more than a doctor that’s a real problem.

So essentially ur gonna gave a youthful lifted, and contoured neck and face for about 10 years and then after that 10 years you will start to see the first signs of laxity in these areas? Or will u see signs of laxity and descent before that time and then after 10 years it becomes more pronounced?

Love how these MD’s say “very rarely” patients get ENS. After much research, many people have ENS. Wish doctors would be honest. None of the 3 ENT’s I’ve been to have mentioned ENS as a possible issue.
