Ive been dunked thousands of times, and ava you really gotta go all the way under and get your hair wet. Yeah it gets messed up but thats part of the job (and fun) of being the dunkie. Few bits of advice for those people ready to go sit up on the hot seat of the dunk tank for the first time: 1) always wear a comfortable but tight enough bikini, the more skin showing the more fun. 2) you gotta actually get "dunked" which means do not catch yourself when you are falling into the water. Let yourself fall in all way including your hair. 3) with your hair keep it down (yes its gonna get wet.) 4) have fun with it, heckle the crowd it makes it more fun for all, make the crowd want to dunk you. 5) always be ready to go in every time a ball is thrown (i promice this will help you a lot!) but dont hold yoir nose thats lame.
