Boundary Button | Creating Boundary Paths from Multiple Objects- Corel Draw

Really quick screen capture of how I use CorelDraw to create boundaries, especially useful for making sticker contour cut paths.
I want to know how you attach it to machine
It attaches like a normal presser foot to the machine.
How do you do an inside cut line to eliminate any white at all even if your cutter is off a touch?
Please I need a technician that will fixed my it has break much of niddle
How do you raise the buttonhole attachment? My fabric can't pass through?
Very good job, John! The only thing I guess you should have some different color fabric or thread. I mean it would better be seen
Hi John, Thank you for the video! Could you share where you bought your buttonhole attachment? Thank you!
I've got an old domestic unit, with the same kind of settings. Thanks, you have just showed me something very interesting.
Thanks a lot, this helped!

Clever idea. Thanks
quick question.... when I lay my contour I'm not seeing a pen line but a filled in outline. is there a way to get it to just be one single line like you are showing? I must have something clicked incorrectly. thanks! Your video was helpful.
Does this work on a lockstitch machine ?
My colleague has the misfortune of using CoreDraw, I'm looking for a way to help him. I eventually just did the job myself in Illustrator. CorelDraw is horribly tedious. No offense intended.
Had to push through watching this video. Took too long to get to the point.
Simple and straight to the point. Thank you.
Will this work with a walking foot machine?
Unfortunately not.
@@johnbigsby Shame (thanks for replying, though)
No. Walkng foot mechanism will be in the way. May I ask, what on earth are you wanting to buttonhole that necessitates the use of a walking foot machine?
@@jaredini It was the ability to do bartacks that appealed.
It necessarily to use zig zag machine when using this device?
No it is designed to work with a straight stitch machine.
@@johnbigsby thanks in advance
Excellent idea, seems to work fine! I suppose it's the pretty common YS4455 attachment? or are there different version of this as well?
Machine price
Hi, I love your video that’s something that I wanted to know. Thank you. I purchased this program to work with the uscutter but I’m not seeing the cutter in the drop down for cutting
gladstone mason hi thanks for your positive comment! Have you installed the appropriate drivers for your cutter from the manufacturer? Do you intend to design and cut your projects directly in corel? Hope I can help - John
Hey Nice Video can you make one for Corel draw 8
What is the thread diameter maximum? Think this can be an option for heavy knife sheath leather. .4"? Thanks for your time.
I actually sold this to a guy who does exactly that, but that being I wouldn't recommend it for prolonged use. There are better options in a slightly higher price range that I would go for. If you have any more questions don't hesitate to ask!
Oh and I think the thread maximum is tex70 (size 69)
These options in a slightly higher $ range. ?? I'd appraciate that feedback as well. Everything other than this machine is leading me to believe Im going to have to spend about $1200 bucks, or pray a used machine pops up somewhere. Thanks again for your time.
Hey Whitey, If you dont mind me answering this. I have this machine and I have to say I love it, I have sewn through 9oz veg tanned leather, canvas, using basic singer home sewing machine needle HA-1 size 15 and I use it to make my leather shoes and boots. I have not used any thread larger then bonded nylon T90/#92 but I am thinking of getting a small spool of #138/T135 thread to see if it can take it. If you are going to sew through heavy leather you then you will have to get leather points, I use organ brand. I say this machine is well worth it. I have made a video series on using my machine if you are interested. Hope this helps.
Hey!! I see you have all of the tools with quick access and I'm Corel Draw beginner and I don't know where are all of the tools located. May you tell me where is the first tool you use to "cut"the image?
Hey man. new to the whole print and cut world. How do you remove the other cut paths and do just the outside. For example a typical Batman logo. I want it to cut and make a sticker like you did here but when I print and cut it the cutter keeps cutting all the lines not just the outside line.
Hey Edward what kind of printer/plotter combo are you using? Generally what you'll probably have to do is rasterize the image and make a vector cut path. Because the plotter interprets vector paths as cutting paths, if you eliminate the vector paths that you don't want cut by rasterizing the plotter has no information and won't be able to cut those paths.
Thank you so much for the response. I am using a Roland Colorcamm PC-600 with Corel Draw x6 on a laptop using Windows XP (really old Roland). So if i rasterize the photo will it still cut the contour line? Also Rasterizing the imige is in the print options correct?
+Edward Eaton hey Edward, the procedure should be something to the effect of this: 1) select all of the colours you want to print excluding the cut line 2)go to bitmaps>convert to bitmap 3) place the cut path over the image where you want to cut. 4) you should be able to send the image to your cutter plotter. If that doesn't work I can talk you through the export process for Roland stuff.
Hey Jim I can't see your full comment on my UA-cam channel. If you can see this send me a message and I'll do my best to help you. John (at) johnbigsby (.) com
Hey man good video. .... I wouldn't mind seeing some more about using corel with only a plotter. Say import an image, trace it then edit it then cut weed transfer then apply..... I'm using aircut to run my plotter Wich from add hat I understand is European kind of program and now how to tutorials on UA-cam dammit
Do you have a link to the aliexpress seller?
Traduscalo al español por favor.
Hey Lee, Thanks for the feedback, been meaning to redo this video but haven't had the time.
you go way too quick , surely lessons are for people who need to learn, you just rush through it all , and the fact you have changed the positions of the buttons makes it even harder to follow.. just saying, thats probably why you have no likes or many views.
