Logitech Wingman Strike Force 3D FFB Joystick DCS TEST Part 4
After upgrading this joystick to what it should of been from the factory it's surprising how much better it works then before and actually it turns out to be decent joystick for flying ww2 planes. I flew it a bit in war thunder and had lots of fun dogfighting with it, although the ffb in war thunder is not good but it does remind me if i'm pulling too hard sometimes and it shakes when I fire the guns which is cool.

So are you just shimming the gimbals to remove slop?
Thanks for your insights. I have a Wingman Force 3D that seems to share a lot of the hardware of the Strike Force. Would you share the design of the part that you mentioned in your tuning/modding video? The Thingiverse link seems uncomplete and I really would like to try this with my stick.

Do you still have the file for the 3d printed clip? I am interested in trying this out on my Wingman Force 3D but the link provided in the description is for something different than what is shown in the video

Which software do you utilize for the effects at the end of the video? I know the joystick is compatible with Windows 10 but so is the software?
The g940 driver works well and it has these effects if you go into the windows joystick configuration page.
My power adapter of my LTWMSF3D Joystick made a strange noise yesterday and today my force feedback stopped working. Do you know if this power adapter is easy replaceable or if it is a power supply which is especifically designed for that joystick with its force feedback effects? I watched the inside of the power adapter and saw a fuse which was all black presumably because another piece in the circuit broke and therefore the electricity was let through the bulb of the fuse and destroyed it, which obviously stopped the electricity stream.
Any 24v power supply will work as long as it has .75A or greater.
@@mr.simulator4724 Thanks for your answer! Shouldnt be too difficult to find another one then. Maybe I do your upgrade although I havent noticed any slack, but that might due to only used it for around 120 hours or so.
@@MARC-FENIX the slack on mine is from factory. You can test it for slack by comparing the joystick position on the computer to where you move the joystick in reality.
I don't know what made you disassemble this very specific item, but I happened to have the same item in need of disassemble, so thank you.
I took it apart because I wanted to fix the slack in the joints so it can be much more precise and have better effects. Take a look at my other video where I fixed it if thats what your trying to do.
