Renault Duster is a compact SUV that has been jointly produced by the French Renault automobile company and its Romanian subsidiary, Dacia, since 2010. This product is sold in the market of some countries such as India, Iran, Kazakhstan, Russia, Mexico, Egypt, South Africa, Ukraine, United Arab Emirates and in North America under the name Renault Duster. This car is also known as Nissan Terrano in Russia and India.
Dacia officially unveiled Duster for the first time in 2010 at the Frankfurt Motor Show; This car is the third product of this company after Sandro, which is based on the Logan platform. In 2014, 40% of global Duster sales were with the Dajia brand and 60% with the Renault brand. Also, a small percentage has been sold under the Nissan Terrano brand in Russia and India. Also, at the end of 2015, a four-door, two-cabin pickup model from Duster named Renault Duster Oroch was launched in the North American market. Duster was first introduced in ice speed racing on November 17, 2009. The production version of this car was introduced to the media on December 8, 2009 and then unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show in March 2010.
In September 2013, the facelifted version of Dacia Duster was presented at the Frankfurt Motor Show. The external design of the car had important changes; For example, the headlights were redesigned and a chrome front window was installed on the car. Also, in addition to minor changes in the rear of the car, open roof racks were designed and 16-inch rims were used in this car. The interior of the car had undergone changes in terms of design and features.
