Historic Pinkerton Hot Springs, Colorado
The history of Pinkerton Hot Springs is as vibrant as the mineral deposits formed around the natural spring. Discovered in the early 1800s by James Pinkerton, the springs were initially developed into a health resort for the healing and restorative waters. At that time, the natural hot springs were very popular, drawing visitors from distant places.

too bad this is not part of the new tram system that is being built there , but then again , there wont be a walking trail either. near the end pe ran steam , electric and petrol engines on their freieghts
I grew up in Fullerton and never knew the Red Car had a route there. Thanks for the video!
Imagine having the only house out there on the cliff many years ago. I was in that house before they ruined killer Dana
Thank you for this nice e-bike ride video... I use and enjoy this bike path with my e-bike every day. ❤
Yon tengo dos bicicleta Klein Rascal originales Alguien interesado vivo en Caracas Venezuela
I want one
Adrian yes there is a lot I love camping here with my rv trees are so much bigger now
Please don’t call this a speed test
This bike is only assisted up to 15.5mph though?
I cant see anywhere to park for the day.
There is a small parking lot at the park, and there is street parking in the area.
beautiful and great video thanks for all the info
We were just in Durango and stopped by the Hot Spring on the way to Silverton. The hot spring is just a few feet from the road.
All I can say is castles made of sand wash back to the sea eventually. Thank you Jimmy Hendrick
When was this put in? I used to live out there till 2014 when my husband passed away.
A few years ago, I do not know the exact date.
I remember when the park was new. You could see across the whole place! Corner to corner.
I remember a large population of red squirrels at the corner of Edinger and Brookhurst before the park was built. I also remember helicopters landing at night when the landing field was there. After removing one of the golf courses, the center section was just opened to the public. I took a walk around the newly opened area, which is very nice but could use some more trees. Many people were running and walking around the new area, and everyone seemed to be enjoying the expanded park area.
Thank you, very much, seeing this video I almost cried, I lived in Silverado in 2003,close to the Silverado Cafe. I miss my host family which I lived with for a year as an exchange student from Uzbekistan. I miss Steve, Kathe Osbourns so much!
Silverado Canyon has mostly stayed the same except for the huge St. Michael's Abbey near the entrance to the canyon. I ride my bike up that way most weekends but never seem to get past CooKs Corner.😃
brilliant hike, love it!!!
The Headlands trail is amazing, with stunning views especially on a sunny day. The only downside is the fencing along the trail but it is necessary to protect what is left of the headlands.
super cool to see this history. Nice to see several pieces left alone to withstand time.
Every time I travel up Highway 395 Bodie is a must stop. I never get tired of visiting this place. Plus Bodie is dog-friendly and we usually have a four-legged friend with us.
I used to work in the gas station there, the owner's are very good people. Was a pleasure.
Many people miss the Dublin Gulch Miners Caves which are nearby and easy to get to.
Awesome video!!!!!!!! Such lovely butterflies! 🦋🦋🦋🦋🦋🦋🦋
Thanks for visiting
@@Daytrippen And thanks to you for inviting me too
Awesome video!!!!!!!!!
Glad you enjoyed it
Now that is nice great discovery kind of reminds me of the early look of Knott's Berry farm or calico Ghost Town. I was at Silver City Nev south of Virginia City I thought this was that town at 1st now I know where it is thank you for showing this ⛏️🏆🇺🇸
Wonder what that guy was being yelled at for….
I think he did not want to get off the train.
I bought one last week [April 2023]; have ridden it to work 4 times so far. I got the EQ (equipment--fenders, rack version). It helps me against the wind and sped up my trip home when it decided to rain (despite no rain being forecast). Charges in about 2 to 12.5 hours. Good for about 30 miles altogether; my commute is 6.2 miles and my typical weekend ride is 25 to 30 miles. I might have bought the non-SL version of this bike--I think it gets more range but it didn't matter. The one thing I would have liked is a higher final gear although I suppose you could just dial down the level of assist. I ordered a removable bag for the rear rack and will rpobably order a phone holder (I don't like the Garmin accessory holder that comes with the bike; wish they had not put it on). Pricey; it cost me $4,500 (pre-tax).
We have a site at woodyard camp area at the port do you know if sites have tables?
I don't think they have tables, but that could have changed since we were there.
Unfortunately public transportation is the most expensive cost per passenger mile of any model of transportation. Public transportation has to be in ideal location where many, many people use it around the clock
This was the video I needed literally two days ago. I went in alone with no shoes on just thinking "It'll be fine, I'll figure it out" and ended up destroying my feet on the rocky part of the trail and then wandering around trying to figure out where I was, lmao.
Been there, the place is amazing and the other thing to check out is the cemetery right across from the caves.
Great ride, thank you! Also noteworthy how 911S nicely hugs the road.
I sold the 911 last year for a great price, and after a seven-month wait picked up a new Macan GTS. Will post a video soon in the new ride.
Very cool!!!!!
So odd to see green grass growing in Death Valley thanks to the underground river. On my bucket list to drive to and see.
21 mph on strait road is not a speed compared to AMP RIDES ebikes that runs 38 plus mph
Pedal assiit bike vs electric scooter with a throttle. If it has a throttle it's not a Ebike, it's a scooter.
Really love that less turf exists and great job on the riverbed. Dudleya, looks like at least two varieties, NICE! Let me guess, from Tree of Live Nursery? Looks fantastic!
the garden has grown quite a bit since I posted the vid
Haven't been in nearly 20 years, still the same ol path.
When I worked for the LA food bank a few years ago. We lived in East Los but delivered all over LA county, and I mean EVERYWHERE. My coworkers and I came upon many sections and long lines of the abandoned Electric Car lines. We even were able to confirm some of them by referring to the old ERC maps online. Seeing that other people like this channel have not only documented them, but found names for the specific lines as well is just amazing to see! Fantastic job!
1:05 😂
Where is this filmed?
Orange County California
It’s like 2 miles ????smh
just wondering if anyone went back on the 241 to get the flag?
Not sure about that - if it was in the middle of the tollway, it would be hazardous to recover.
Where is the mic? That sounds super loud. Even the shifters sound loud.
The top of the handle bar
Hidden Jem.. So true..what a beautiful place. When you walk these shores, you can't help feeling removed from the daily routine...
Thanks for doing this video!!! Really helpful getting a visual .⛺️🏕
Glad it was helpful!
Likewise thanks for this My old stomping grounds
No problem 👍
this was today ehh? saw them too on the road hahaha.
Yep about 9:00 AM
Just thanks for this!
I am trying to install my redshift seatpost and was wondering how you removed the tailight, did you cut the cable and wrapped it with insulation tape? Thanks
Yes I cut the wires, taped the wire ends and pushed the wire into the tube. Be careful not to drop the seat post clamp into the tube
@@Daytrippen thank you!
This is one of the oldest cities in Alta California, Mexico!
Thank you 😊
Great video, thank you!
Nice place to ride!
That the best place for a speed run
