Jackie watches Robert Blake try to attack Howard Stern
Billy part of two great shows Ren and Stimpy and Howard Stern!
This is when Howard’s show was at it’s Zenith with these guys on it!
More videos!
OK
Love this Roycey! Please do more of these!
Thanks Mike
Billy didn't care, that was his leverage. Sounds like he didn't even negotiate. He was going to win either way Jackie is a bad negotiator, he played himself. He shouldn't have given a hard number. Tom is an idiot, obviously. He starts negotiating in bad faith. I get the feeling each negotiation lasted 5 minutes. Howard didn't take care of his people.
Royce!! What happened to you!!! My guess is some feud with John.
I ask myself this alot
Billy West is the best comic cartoon voice creator ever.
Billie West was GREAT
This was interesting but parts were really hard to take. Jackie blowing his own horn over and over, John trying to be funny, failing, but laughing while he's talking anyhow. Awkward shit. But yeah, interesting.
imagine trying to produce it!
Jackie was the greatest from the Stern universe. His era was the best.
I was a huge fan back then, I have to admit I have a new respect for Jackie, I learned quite a bit watching this, I've also lost a lot of respect for Howard, I feel like he's a total sellout
Stern listener since 1985. God bless these three guys, they were part of radio history. PS. 54:28 Stuttering John giving someone the eye 'off-stage' because his beer only got filled half-way! Bwaaahaaaahaaaa!
San Francisco listener beginning in 1991. Even the damn 20 minute commercial sets kept us listening waiting for the show to return. Thank you for the great years.
I like these interviews but I wish Jackie didn't let his ego ruin the show but without him going we probably wouldn't have gotten artie fair trade lol
One word: Gold
When this place was opened it was a dump. My guess is they were attempting to remodel it at some point and stopped after realizing AC was on its last dying breathe. Any idea how long it's been since they actually had the doors open to the public? Last time I visited Atlantic Club was back was mid 2000's. Borgata is the place to stay if visiting AC. Revel was a beautiful property, and while short lived the timing couldn't have been more wrong given the size and state of the economy at the time. Far too ambitious of a project. Now just forget it, barely anyone has disposable income. RIP Atlantic City
Is that the voice from Ren and Stimpy?
Great memories of these gentlemen. What a great time for radio
I missed more construction meetings listening to these guys on Howard, while sitting in the truck. I'm forever grateful.
Ever think about another one of these? Maybe artie, shuli, Scott salem
Here's that clip Jackie refers to - the Channel 9 Howard Stern Show with Howard as Supreme Court's Clarence Thomas: ua-cam.com/video/mKchNj9Zh68/v-deo.html
This was a 1000x more entertaining than the current Stern show.
Wow - great roundtable disussion! I listened to every Howard Stern show before he went to Sirius/XM. I loved the whole crew including Artie and KC. I've heard Howard *CLAIM THAT* Stuttering John didn't trust him with the news that he was going to a real job as the announcer on The Tonight Show w/ Jay Leno. *Howard also LIED* that Jackie was unreasonable in his salary demands and so Jackie was fired or was given no contract. Howard is a great (underappreciated, too) interviewer and talker but this interview convinces me Howard is the last person to get the truth from.
Great guys
the show hasn't been good since art left. get the fug outta here. i could watch these 3 forever. great stuff.
F-Howard
Love those guys,damn!
I just watched the 2.5 hour conversation, it was fantastic. Thanks for putting it together.
Hey Now. Howard will never do that.. If you're off the show you're dead. Shuii and Brent are gone now and Howard didn't say shit.
Agree 💯
I listened to Howard from the mid-eighties to 2012. Unfortunately Howard stopped caring about his listeners when he lost that lawsuit to Sirius. That really soured him a bit and then he hired Marcy Turk and that was THE END. Royce, thanks for everything you’ve done for us old-timey Stern fans! It was the greatest radio show ever.
Thank you very much
It makes perfect sense, they all know Howard sues anyone that does anything in a large market that doesn't have his hand in. I stopped all things Stern years ago because he's not the Howard we knew 20 years ago, and that Howard ain't coming back. Billy hates Howard. Howard, Robin, and Fred hate Jackie; and SJ to an extent. Howard would even lose money on purpose just to make them look bad in the end. Howard has let out the huge douche that was always inside of him....
WNBC-K Rock
you did something great setting up the old stern cast for a reunion, that content of them talking about the old times is gold and you should dig more into that.
Thank you, it was great to do for the fans.
can you do more of these? its funny some arcade bar is the only group of people capable of getting these people together and recording history. There is lots of nostalgia for this
A name few know when so many should. I remember being a kid and looking at credits to see the name of the person who played Darth Vader. "Luke, I am your father" one of the biggest lines in movie history. The man played the #1 villain of all time. RIP David Prowse, and thank you for the childhood memories from a 47 year old man.
Look'n better
Nice
Thanks
of?
a ride we are building
I love these three. Thanks
New stuff would be nice.... offer SJ a case of beer, he'll be there
I thought Jackie died years ago. The Mandela effect is real
49:30 - Billy breaking out the inappropriate Jackie laughing impersonation, F*ing Gold!
This is a fantastic inside look.
Marge Schott
Whose studio is this being done at.
Ours
This was all worth it just to hear Billy do Jackie Puppet again. And hearing Jackie do Jackie Puppet was even better!
The money offered by the E show was disgraceful.
Howards gonna love this....lol. Nice to see the guys doing well.
I'm a minute and ten seconds into this and already immensely enjoying it. Thanks for posting! P.S. - Allow me to warmly recommend Jackie's and John's recent autobiographies.
Glad you enjoyed it!
