Your title was a little confusing. You state "Installing New Gear Shift Indicator: Ford Ranger ". You actually installed a new indicator cable bracket. Big difference

is this a 3.0 engine?

thanks man, your video was very helpful. I am in my 60's so I removed the front seat, that made if much easier to get the screws back in. I can't bend and stuff, like I used to. LOL

THIS WRONG

Just replaced mine but had a problem. I took out the broken indicator and didn't install the new one for a few days and had a heck of a time with the white bracket. I compared my new Ford one with the one I took out and found the white bracket was backward. Turned it around and it now works perfectly. Thanks for the extra step Ford.

Hmmm, my coil says 1, 3, 5 on the right, and 2, 4,6 on the left. ?

My white bracket is intact.

Because after moving the black wheel left and right my needle dont Move to desired place on PRNDL

Does the white bracket has any cables?,cable with eyelet hook attached to stud down there when u were not able to shed light...where its located.i have ford windstar 2000 and could not located?

Hi! I’m in fayette county and just caught a TX brown tarantula in my backyard! Was the first one we’ve ever seen in our yard! Or in town! We’ve lived in our home 9 years! So this was a real treat to see & even more special to be able to catch him! Named him Harry 😂he’s pretty adorable! Kinda wish to keep him but my husband is terrified of spiders, in general. He won’t come out of his bedroom upstairs now lol he said KILL ITTTTT! I said wow I found many online much larger than him!! Harry is just a “baby” (he’s like the size of my hand) he’s so cute!! Can we keep him??? My husband said NO! How am I supposed to sleep, now? lol I know, I’m so mean! Lol anyway, you’re not too far from here so thought I’d drop a comment! Thanks for the video!

If your coil has a pigtail harness that is sideways this is the order If it sticks up in the air it’s the other way as shown on google
