A movie I made from two dives in Marsa Alam, Egypt april 2012: Marsa Abu Dabab and Coraya Bay. Loads of big turtles from Marsa Abu Dabab and a cool octopus from Coraya. Scuba Diving with D7000 at Väderöarna May 06 2011. DK Sjökorna took a nice trip with Dyk-Leif to Väderöarna, at the Swedish west coast. Lots of nudibranches! I tested to shoot some wide angle video with my D7000 for the first time using only natural light. Still struggling with some incorrect settings, holding still and setting white balance, but I'm getting there!

A short test video to try out the D7000 underwater video capability. Shot during a short single dive at Gullmarn (Hällebäck) at the Swedish west coast. Depth 5-30m. Temperature: 3-14 C. The D7000 was in an Ikelite uw-housing. The song is called "Camera Lights" and is written, recorded and performed by my band NOVELTY, from our CD album "Natural".

I tested filming with the Nikon D300s on a few dives at the Swedish west coast summer 2010. I've put it all together into one movie (my very first uw movie!). Music is also by me: NOVELTY : "Things we Do" and "Natural". You will have to do the "breathing" sound yourself. ;-) Even though it's far from pro quality, I hope you'll enjoy it. A comment is always appreciated (good or bad).

The actual latin name of the puffer fish at 4:30? Saw one of those in Sharm 5 days ago, but I cant't find information on this fish (want to show my parents what I have seen :D).

Thanks! For this video I used the 8" Ikelite acrylic DOME.
I think I used a 10-17 zoom FishEye. Maybe with a teleconverter on some of the dives.

Nice one I am also using the D7000 as on my films this year. Had it in a Nimar housing for a bit now in Sea and Sea Finding it great but hard to get the auto focus to cope in low light it seems to seek a bit. Been using the Tokina 10-17
Really nice ! I have a D7000 and i'm about to buy the Ikelite but I was wondering what lens port I should get with (for normal shooting and macro) and also what lamp. I already have the cannon 100 light.
Now I have actually tested slo mo, not on this video but on another, and it works OK even at 24 fps.
Depth down to 25m. Visibility, 3-8m (depending on depth).
I was using Sigma and Tokins lenses.

@SamStewart1 I used manual focus. I have not yet tested it's continous focus.
How did you use the auto focus with the D7000? Im about to get an ikelite housing for mine and am unsure how the autofocus works underwater.
