I’m somewhat conflicted about the worship music we sing in church. Maybe you can give me some clarity please. I read that bethel is not acceptable to listen to because of some of the church’s practices, ie grave absorbing, laying on graves to absorb he dead’s spirit. King of creepy to me. Skittle help please.

The church is the continuation of Israel not its replacement. Israel was always about the believers not the nation. All of God's promises to the nation of Israel were conditional. Kind of like marriage vows. We will be married forever unless you show yourself unfaithful. Then the marriage is over. The covenant has been broken. Any covenant after would have to ignore the broken covenant that went before it. ALL the land was given to Israel but then Israel broke the covenant so that covenant and its promise is no longer valid. Not that God was unfaithful but that He kept His word. If you break the covenant the promise ends. Finally we have to realise that Jesus is the True Israel and all those who are in Christ are true Israel. Those who are not in Christ are not Israel no matter what they may claim. Judaism is a religion not an ethnicity so that argument is over as well. We as Christians have no obligation to support the nation state of Israel and in fact doing so is to deny the True Israel and cut oneself off from being a part of True Israel who is Christ Jesus our Lord who is our only salvation.

For the sake of others, I think it was the column of tanks within the city in Spain (Madrid?) that made the difference to win a battle or to take down the enemy. Or you could say; a group of persons inside the battle lines of a territory engaged in a conflict, who secretly sympathize with the enemy, and who engage in espionage or sabotage; -- sometimes also referred to as a trojan horse. That speaks to the battle going on inside of me, or in the country of Canada, Israel, or the US that has entities engaged to take down the nations. For what purpose? Try world government. I feel sorry for pastors today who can’t maintain their congregation without promoting Old Testament doctrine.

Testimony and scripture is not relevant in any context. Education is key.

Tithing is not remotely a New Testament concept. Giving is.

Tithing was under the ‘law’ which we are no longer under. It amazes me that pastors today like to use the old tithing law however they want to pick and choose what they want from that law and not encompass all of the law. Under the new covenant we are to live and live generously. Give with a joyful heart.
