Little Limestone Lake - Moak Lodge and Campground
To the Cabin we go! Visiting the Little Limestone Lake 🛖⛰️🏖️
We went for a little trip to celebrate Wifey’s Birthday.
It’s a 4.5 hour drive to the Cabin called Moak Lodge near Grand Rapids, MB. We then visited the bluest lake in Manitoba - Little Limestone Lake 😲 The lake itself is a thing of beauty. Cannot emphasize how clear the lake is. The only complain we have is the swarm of bugs! lol. I suggest visiting the lakes early morning - less bugs around that time.
As for the Cabin life - It was good! Got the time to relax and unwind. We were a minute away to Cedar Lake as well - got to see the beautiful sunset. Just make sure you have enough “Baon” as there are no grocery stores on sight.

🌻 Sunflower Expo Finally got to visit the Sunflower Expo and see their beautiful field of Sunflowers 🌻🌻. There are many spots for photo ops to choose from. Went hiking at “Little Steep Rock Trail” in Steep Rock and the view of the Lake and Quarry were amazing! I cannot emphasize how clear and blue the lake was. On a side note, I don’t recommend doing the hike as the trail is not well marked. It’s not a difficult trail but you can easily end up in the main road. Did I mention that the trail has so many bugs? Hiking at Spirit Sands ☀️🌳🏜 The closest thing that we have to a desert. Beautiful trail and easy to moderate hiking difficulty. Definitely recommended for everyone to try! 😁👍🏻
