We are proud parents of a wonderful boy who has autism. Bryce's life did not start out with autism; however, it did start with an unexplained grade four brain hemorrhage (stroke) on the day after he was born. He miraculously developed MUCH better than the grim projections we were given at the time of his stroke. He was hitting milestones on time and had a large vocabulary of single words. He also identified letters and spelled words before he turned two! We weaned him off seizure medication and thought we were crossing the finish line as we celebrated his second birthday. Soon after, it became apparent to Sandy that something was different with delayed language and certain unfamiliar behaviors. Our autism journey began when he was diagnosed in April 2016 at age two and a half. Since then, we have been learning every step of the way.

I used to actually have a fear of balloons just like him when I was 8 or 9 years old and it got so bad I stopped watching cartoons on TV or going to the cinema in the fear of seeing a balloon or hearing the squeaky sound they make when you stretch the neck (which is quite commonly used for when they deflate)
Thanks for sharing @ToonyKid ! Do you still have a slight phobia, or did you grow out of it completely?
@@ParentingAutismShowI completely got over it, as I now love balloons.
@@ToonyKid that's great news!
Wish I got to use that
The ramp is for people that can't use the ball with the finger holes. Most bowling places have these ramps if you need it.
Great shot :)
Thanks!
Nice
Have him try the red blue or green those are the best
It’s terrible
This takes absolutely ZERO skill

Great job 😊
At which station is this?
We believe it was Broad Street Station.
Aw, glad to see you love dolphins!! I remember when I rented a boat, I saw a few and they were cool.
Yea, it was a really, really sketchy elevator! I’m good.
Glad to hear that, bro!
Hi, Bryce! Yes, that was indeed a sketchy elevator! 😂 How are you, man?
My nephew with Autism was obsessed with air filled balloons. He didn’t like popping them but he loved playing with balloons .
Very interesting!
Wow Bryce is so big now. Ive been listening to your podcast for 3 Years now. Right around the time my Daughter Phoenix was diagnosed when she was 2. I learned so much from podcasts and your family helped me be aware of so much to think about and be aware of. Shout out from Orange County, California
Thank you for your encouraging comment!! It means so much to us knowing people like you are out there benefiting from our journey. We're glad we've helped you along your journey. California is a beautiful state.
Very cool, Bryce and fam! Where is this taken?
It's a two story building near where we live.
Okay
I love this!
Super cool, Bryce!!! 😎💙
That’s not a strike

Hi
I like watching myself love it ❤
You did great!
It’s weird seeing people get so excited over trains
What might be something you get excited about that other people might not?
@@ParentingAutismShow no I was pointing out that in Europe and Asia high quality rail services is common place and not really something people give a second thought to but in the us it’s very special to ride a train let alone a good one
@@Mugcat21 yes, you're right, it is less common in the U.S., but for some people with autism, it's always going to be exciting no matter where they are. For them, it is very exciting to watch the wheels, the movement, flashing lights, the sounds. It never gets old for them.
@@ParentingAutismShow I actually have autism but at his point trains where I live really don’t have nothing special about them so I don’t really get excited that much
@@Mugcat21 thank you for your reply. I think it's important that we learn as much as we can from people like you that have autism so we can better understand it.
I hate balloons as well. I have a balloon of phobia and it's the worst because whenever balloons come out I like cannot be in the same room as them
Thanks for your comment. I told Bryce and he still agrees, he hates balloons, too because they could pop and be loud.
I have autism spectrum disorders to tell Bryce that it's alright everyone is different
Nice railway series bookbag
Very helpful. Keep up the Good work. I am planning a trip in Jan 2024 and plan to stay in Element. Do you know how the car parking works in Element Philadelphia? I mean is it free or you have to pay?
They have Valet parking only. There is a fee per day, but I can't remember how much. I would say it was probably between $25-$50 per day.
@@ChrisColter: Noted with thanks. Appreciated.
Hearing that drill noise gives me a heart attack
Cool backpack Bryce!
Thank you!
What’s with the headset?
Bryce has autism, and he describes some sounds as very loud and painful to him.
Many autistic people, myself included, have very intense reactions to various noises. This can come either from how loud something is or the type of sound. Some people also struggle with a lot of different sounds happening simultaneously. For me personally, there's a couple factors. 1, it sounds like the noise is going off directly in my ear and 2, I get a very intense tickling/shocking sensation in my spine.
@@CrabMan2539 Wow! I just saw your reply today. THANK YOU for sharing this with us! Bryce still struggles to find all of the details to let us know how he’s feeling. Your insight is so helpful! 😊 - Bryce’s Mom
Indonesia have WHOOSH train 218mile/hour, experiece & enjoy our Comport HIGH SPEED & HIGH TECH train US$15 for 103mile travel America people can come to Indonesia to ride most fast train in the world
That would be amazing to see and do!
I'm from USA and I wish we had more high speed rail but big companies own 95% of rail lines and makes it hard for passenger trains
Awesome, but not a strike! 10 pin is missing!
