Yeh i moved to Godot as well after the Unity Scandal. It's surprising what things you can make in the engine. I just finished making a multiplayer game in it and although Unity's multiplayer is a lot better, it shows what potential this engine has

First rule of coding, to make it go better is to avoid spaghetti code and be clean with it. Then if you lack on something and you can’t figure out how to do that specific thing, you can just search around on the internet ofc and you will definitely find an answer

Freddy Fuzznuts! Do you think that a very beginner game dev should use Godot or Unity? I have some coding experience but nothing crazy
They’re both really good engines, but personally I would choose Godot over Unity for a beginner
How did you learn the scripting lamguage so fast, everytime I see code there are a bunch of keywords I dont know
Basically whenever I needed to add a new feature to the game I used to search up on yt how to do that, meanwhile I was reading some Godot’s docs to understand what I was doing
