why would you go to Panama for medical tourism if it's the same prices as the USA unlike Kuala Lampur, Thailand and others that are a LOT less expensive and their hospitals are incredible?

Panama's use of the US dollar puts me as a Canadian at a disadvantage due to the CAD to USD exchange rate, something I'd have to really think about and budget an extra 40% for.

The inflation from the money printers has gone everywhere. I paid $1600 for a full 3 bed house in Las Vegas in 2019, now in Boquette you get a 1 bedroom apparently. Let the banks fail.

These terms are from the cold war (three-world model is something to look up) and first world is the NATO countries, second world is the Warsaw Pact countries and third world is the non-aligned countries. Panama does not support Dual Citizenship. The government will make you sign documents and inform your previous country that you are voluntarily relinquishing your citizenship to take up Panamanian citizenship.

Being a pedestrian ( uneven, cracked sidewalks and drivers having the right way) is sometimes more dangerous than actual crime in most areas of Panama City.
