Lol I was looking at this and saying to myself , “I didn’t make this video!” I’ve never seen anyone else named Andrew Peedin.

Like some many things, people or places, they just don't make them like Jimmy Capps anymore... Are there folks playing music? Yes. Are there great musicians coming up and along like him? No! North Carolina proud and hard work!

Super Grit Cowboy Band?! I’m 65 now- I remember seeing this band all over NC when I was in high school ! I did not expect to hear that name on this video- good times!

Great man and musician, sure miss him.

My daughter lives a block away from this house. there's a plack in the sidewalk in front of the house that commemorates this house as the house jimmy capps grew up in. I got to walk over and pay my respects last time I was in Benson. Really cool experience!

What a great person, and early acquaintance I was so fortunate to meet. I lived in Benson, NC. I also delivered groceries for City Market. I worked for my Grandfather E.P. Britt at his Small store and one gas pump on HW 301. I met Hayden Ivey and bought a guitar, never could play it, so Hayden let me work on the radio show they had. I would then keep the radio mikes in proper range. I then traded the Guitar for a bicycle with Jimmy Capps. He then started working with Hayden and he was a natural. Hayden was a garbage man and one of best friends anyone could have. He and E P Britt taught me how to work hard and enjoy life. I now am 86 and have been successful by using those methods of working hard and enjoying life. Thanks to Benson, NC and the great people there.🥍🎶

There is no telling how many sessions he played on in Nashville. I did see him play in studio once, though I didn’t get to meet him. He was a much loved by all.

Hi all, I’m seeking information on Capp family. I’m a cousin to JC, majority of the Capps come from North Carolina. It’s weird how this side of my bloodline is quiet and not up for discussion. The aborigines Indigenous people we who were taught all were killed off by the Europeans but not all. I would like you all who know the truth to tell me about my ancestors history why continue keeping the secrecy of mine and yours history. Through DNA I have found a lot but not enough due to I’ve learned your dark secrets like kkk in the bloodline. Some of the Capps did communicate with me at some point but stopped after truths was made known to them. I need to know where I’ve come from no matter what the true story is.
