Hi! I hope you're seeing this comment. I am planning my Kungsleden thru hike (leaving early August) and might want to do the Trafala detour. Would you recommend it? Is it easy enough hiking or a tough scramble? I'm solo hiking and wild camping so I have a pack of around 16 kilos, making me want to be sure that it's doable :-)

Really nice video - Nice to rewatch the trip - Thruhiked the trip aswell in 2019, SOBO though and in June/July. It's funny how one recognize allmost every single shot in the video. Cheers for the awesome video and really nice music. Inspires me to get back on the editing and get my own video done of it(I know, its late, but it's coming) Happy Hiking! Ps. Also a fellow hiker that got alot of inspiration from Floor Denil's Thruhike.

Awesome job on the video - really makes me want to get out there again. I feel particularly familiar with the view at 6:53 for some reason, and now I finally know what the scenery looks like from Jakkvik to Kvikkjokk. Glad we crossed paths on the trail!

Simon!! Thanks for the kind words and hope you’re doing well! We talk about the trail all the time and how much we miss it, can’t wait for the next one!! Hopefully we’ll cross paths again. -Martyn.

Thank you for the relaxing video. Seems nice and quiet on the trail and that you did not see loads of other hikers? What was the month/date that you walked the route?

VoiceRoland you’re very welcome, glad you enjoyed it! In the south section it was very quiet and would only cross a small numbers of hikers each day. The northern section was a little more busy between Saltalukta and Abisko as that is the more popular section. We started August the 2nd and took us 22 days with a zero day and a detour to kebnekaise.
