I feel like this still sounded a bit off to me at first due to the time signature changing. The original maintains 4/4 time during the pause, while this version adds an extra beat at the looping point which kinda threw me off. Though, in listening to this multiple times and now being able to anticipate the extra beat, I've kinda grown to like the sound of it, so maybe it was just an acquired taste lol
