Welcome to the Dreamworld! I apologize in advance for the novel. Dreamcatcher are an incredibly unique group whose core sound revolves around their use of rock and metal instrumentals in all of their title tracks and some b-sides. The intensity of the rock/metal instrumental varies from song to song with some being only slightly influenced, like their Dystopia trilogy, while some are almost full metal songs like their Japanese tracks Endless Night or No More. Where they really shine though is in their diversity. Even though they utilize heavier instrumentals for their title tracks they're never the same and they use many different sub-genres of rock throughout their discography. They also have the most diverse discography I've come across from any group in any contry with b-sides covering dozens of different genres and sub-genres. EDM, Funk, Reggae, Jazz, Pop, Rock, Trap, Ballads, and much more can be found throughout their catalog. As for the lore, it's...complex. You can watch the MVs dozens of times and catch new things. It's also worth mentioning that Dreamcatcher MVs are hardly ever linear. Since Dreams are such a big part of their lore and story the MVs often follow dream logic with things appearing out of order. They have 4 main story lines so far with Nightmare, Dystopia, Apocalypse, and their most recent, Versus. Versus portrayed two opposing realities in which Dreamcatcher were Villains in one and Saviors in another. The Versus story line also served as a bridge for all their past lore and combined them all into a big multiverse, of sorts. But you'll find out more about that in the future. As for the story in these three MVs, the broad strokes are that the girls become cursed in Fly High. Whether this is caused when Yoohyeon touches the mirror or when she burns the spider isn't real clear (unless it's been told outside the MVs and I'm not aware). This leads to all of the members becoming cursed one by one and in the end Jiu shuts the gate locking all of them inside and preventing the curse from spreading further. Chase Me takes place 100 years after fly high and the boarding house is now a hotel. The guy who shows up appears to be an investigator there to find out what's causing the disturbance and you can see that he already has a picture of the 7 girls when he first arrives so he knows what/who he's looking for. The girls are "haunting" the location, though they're not really ghosts but Nightmares, and he's been sent by someone to find them. By the end of Chase Me he's managed to gain access to the room he sees Jiu entering where he finds the original photo of them from when they were all mortal. This is the same photo that Sua cuts out of the frame at the end of Fly High so it's possible that they're tied to it. Now that he has the photo he's able to exert some control over them and begins to try and lock them away, which is where Good Night picks up. Some of them are still being chased by others like him while Sua & Gahyun have been captured as illustrated by the events portrayed in the book happening to them (Sua restrained by roots and Gahyun falling). Siyeon and Yoohyeon manage to ditch the people chasing them in the woods and Dami manages to use a spell to steal the hunters magic tome (book of Nightmares) and they then use it to trap the hunter in the mirror dimension. At the end of the MV all the members are leaving through the words, now free to go out into the world. You & I will pick up from this point and will start the next arc of the Nightmare story. Enjoy this trip through their discography. They're a fantastic group and they make great music. They have one of the most consistently great discographies in music (imo) and the enjoyment of their catalog is really down to how many different types and genres of music you like. Dreamcatcher has had a pretty difficult road to get to where they are and its created a special bond between themselves and their fans, InSomnia. I know that every group loves their fans but there's just something different about the way that Dreamcatcher talks and interacts with us and I think it's due to those shared struggles. They're very down to earth and are not afraid to be themselves on camera. I hope you enjoy your journey through their discography and I'm looking forward to seeing you get to know them. Enjoy!

It’s so effing GOOD like it makes me mad how good it is😭one of the best nct and kpop songs of all time too PERIOD! The song isn’t even 4 years old yet but I can already call it a timeless kpop classic!! also the VOCALS?! like jaemin said in an interview once, haechan was literally bleeding this throat in that studio busting out those crazy high notes fr and the fact that this song has been performed LIVE so many times (all throughout tds2 and tds3) and haechan delivers those crazy high notes live every time and even recently started holding the notes out LONGER than the studio ver? Truly one of the best vocalists in kpop

Welcome to the dreamworld. Group name - dreamcatcher Fandom name - Insomnia/somnies Plot: Girls living in the boarding school kinda which is situated on some dure mysterious land where evil thrives. Jiu a playful character one day discovers a spider(an integral character) n traps her without much of malice n things start to go haywire like gahyun being uncomfortable while sleeping and the mysterious mirror appearing n jiu spotting someone like herself. Dami resorts to black magic from the book she found to find a solution but Yoohyeon suspecting the spider to be the one orchestrating all of that(since it was upon its arrival things went south) decides to eliminate the risk by burning the spider with a magnifying glass. Upon her action a devilish force also referred as the spider queen curses them to be wandering around as a living embodiment of their own nightmares, this becoming nightmares themselves. So jiu being the wisest locks the gate so they never escape to outer world n haunt people at least till they find a way to lift the curse. Enters a paranormal investigator with an objective to find out about the weird happenings of the place whom the girls begin to torment expecting to scare him off but it's revealed in the last scene of "chase me" that he's rather obsessed n seems to have ulterior motives of supposedly trapping them when he discovers "The Book". The book is where the spider queens cast her curse of the girls where in the pages she had drawn them with the nightmares they bound to. On discovering the fact the girls decide to take possession of the book which they did when Dami put her hand through the photo frame n grabbed the book and then they burnt the pages depicting the nightmares eventually lifting the curse upon them n they trap the guy in the mirror n take off the haunted place. That's basically to the point u have watched...

Storyline is too much with them, even years after this we still thinking about it, but small explanation: in fly high the curse on them started, with Yoohyeon killing the spider, they get cursed and become nightmares, then in chase me, they are in that hotel and that guy is supposed to be a ghost hunter or something like that, that's why they mess with him, and in good night, they stole the book that the guy used to.. kinda trap them, torture them, something like that, and they end up traping him in the mirror, that would be kind of the world they have been living in since the curse, and they are free.. I guess 😅 it's not much but I hope you get a smal idea of the lore of each MV. On the next vids you'll see the curse more in "detail" have fun, and thanks for reacting to Dreamcatcher ❤

More Aespa pleasee, I love them and your reactions to them. My bias is Karina because of her dorky and down to earth personality, she's such a cute beautiful humble loser. Winter is my bias wrecker because of her cute puppy personality and her versatility, she can be an adorable princess one moment and the next she's a handsome confident tomboy. I'd say they're all so chaotic on their own way. I love them all for that. Perhaps Rina is the most chaotic because she's always causing trouble and being clumsy but charming at the same time.

ridin is such a bittersweet era for me! its the era that mark was announced to be back in dream, and was by far dream's most successful comeback until hot sauce in 2021. i hope you react to the album bsides if you haven't listened to them already!!! 7 days and love again are both in my top 10 bsides by dream ever for new content to watch i would recommend the dream mystery lab content! its from 2021 and had one of the most frustrating games of mafia ive ever seen an idol group play 😭
