Hello Owen, my Son Gabriel and I love your videos!! I'm trying to figure out how to make a homemade bell for him but am struggling. Is there any chance one of your parents could contact me so I can ask for some advice please?? My Son Gabriel is only 5 years old but has been obsessed with bell-ringing since he was 2! Keep the videos going, they're fantastic and you are amazing at ringing well done 👏👏👏
@markrickett4287 so find a shape what matches a bell shape (e. G a bucket)then you may need wood for the structure of the frame. You can get a bike wheel for the bell as the rope can move more as always. Then find something for a headstock and screw the bucket to it and get a metal rod so the bell is swingable and just add to wooden parts on the end of the bell so the rod can rest on it and you could either add a stay and slider or u can have no stay. Finally add a rope and maybe three paint rolls as a sally and fox that onto the rope. Add a pulleyblock for it 😬.
