yeah, like to dance their own name.....
Home schooling is abuse
I know homeschooling isn’t for everyone, but for many families, it’s a beautiful way to give their kids a personalized education in a loving environment. Every child deserves to learn in a way that works best for them, and we’re here to support families who choose this path.
How Please i hope to leave my situation how i can do this
Here's a tricky thought to all that though...trump wants to close the IRS meaning no more tax refunds but will give you a tax break and he wants to cut the department of education but would need at least one person to be home and get a degree to do home schooling in the first place ....make any of that make sense here
Homeschooling laws depend on the state, but most don’t require a degree. Families have been homeschooling successfully for years! That’s why we created My Homeschool Village to make it easy and doable for any parent who wants this for their kids.
What about an Islamic school? Does that count? Just a disabled vet here wonderful What I fought for?
This country was founded on Christianity and we will be bringing Jesus back to our land🇺🇸🙏🇺🇸🙏🇺🇸🙏
@vickiefinney6073 do you know that there is an Etched image of the prophet Mohammed holding the Quran on the Supreme Court house? You should see what our founding father Thomas Jefferson wrote about the "Mohammedans" a term used for. Muslims. Did you know that he loved the Quran and his copy is still on display today for all to see. And this country was based on freedom of religion don't you remember? This is all true history that you can very easily research. Do you see your ignorance yet? Why are you so upset with me? Why do you feel I need to leave this country? I do not live up to your ignorant expectation of what an American soldier should be? I am about to think for myself and not just regurgitate the same ignorant things life "just leave this country then" that is your only defense when it comes to someone who doesn't buy into the propaganda and can think for themselves. It bothers you that I don't just lower myself down to the same ignorance as you just to fit in? It's really not my problem bro, it's yours. Ignorance really is hard to see through. I am an American soldier. You just don't even know what it means to even be American bro. You should probably go work on that.
Nice I see you delete my posts .... this country was founded on freedom of religion and you should look into Thomas Jefferson who's Koran is still on display.
@@vickiefinney6073 the country was founded on freedom of religion just look into Thomas Jefferson and the Etched image in the Supreme Court house of the prophet said holding the Quran.
@@vickiefinney6073 wrong Vicky, this country was founded on freedom of religion. Please look into the history of Thomas Jefferson and his love for the Quran. It's supposed to be FREEDOM FOR ALL. In the beginning of this country they were called mohamadans. It was always supposed to be free but yet there is our history of slavery so I guess it's hypocritical from the very roots.
We live like this too! 5 kids. One full time public (football player), one hybrid school, two graduated who took a couple classes at public each highschool year. 3rd grader full time home. There are good things at public we can benefit from!
I love that you’ve found what works for each of your kids! That’s the beauty of homeschooling, it’s flexible, and we can mix and match what’s best for our families. Public school does have some great opportunities, and it’s awesome when we can take advantage of them while still tailoring education to our kids needs!
Nice!
When I pulled my kid, I just asked her school office for the withdrawal form. Filled it out and signed it on Friday and started homeschooling on Monday.
What books will I need to purchase? Is a list given on what is needed? Does my child submit work? How do I know and check their progress??
It is kinda like going on a field trip to prison to see what prison life is like.
Every family finds what works for them! For us, homeschooling means creating the best learning experience while still embracing good opportunities when they come up.
What school district is that
I'm not a parent but yes it can teach addition subtraction acting and social skills at surface level
Yea only home school moms are allowed to have an opinion on dungeons and dragons. Lady youre to scared to send your kids to public school i dont you have the imagination to be a dungeon master
This is a such a rude comment. Don’t see who the company caters to?
not a mom but yes, helps the kid learn math in a place outside of normal teaching
Let your kids go to a real school
Yeeeeesssssssssssss
It's good for teaching math and it also teaches critical thinking skills logic and it can just be really really fun. It is totally worth it and you don't have to do anything that you don't like you can Homebrew anything you like I mean it doesn't have to be D&D It could be Pathfinder it could be any number of things you don't even have to have heck you could even do sort of a D&D thing set in our world like no magic just adventurers and rogues and that kind of thing. There's all kinds of tabletop role-play games out there they're worth looking into.
Not a home school mom, but a long time dnd player. It improves basic math skills. Encourages creative thinking, teamwork, and waiting your turn. If done well, it teaches that failing and needing help are not bad things but a normal part of everyday life. And best of all its a great way to spend time laughing together without screens needing to be super present. You get out what you put in. If you don't like something, simply communicating with your party is the best way to avoid it in your games. Everyone is a human and it can be ran whichever way you like. 😊
Yes you should let your kids do whatever they want at least it's practical save harm their well-being let kids be kids
I wasn't home schooled, but I didn't discover d&d till my late 20's. I wish I had found it sooner. It's fantastic for both social interaction, thinking on your feat, and light math.
Yes, it stimulates children through creative thinking and gives them experience with problem solving.
Yes to D&D. It encourages creativity, critical thinking, and teamwork. It can also help as a teaching aid, depending on how complicated you want to make the game. I would also recommend the FATE tabletop roleplaying game and its accelerated version, if you're more interested in social development.
Do you at least do homeschool?
Of course!!
But what about friends?
Homeschoolers have friends!
passed wug test at 20 months and am in high school english and history in middle school, but you're right
Tf you tell me for😊
Earlier is better
Exactly. The lady here might argue that its not always better. That would just be hiding in semantics though, and something a late reader would do.
You know what? Good for you guys. You all came together and made way to allow social enrichment to your kids. I don't know if i worded it right, but there's no snark or shame, just full encouragement! Keep it up.
Keep trying your best
I have four kids. Me and my siblings together have thirteen kids, oldest is twenty three youngest is six. There have been a lot of hand-me-down exchanges amongst us over the years. It happens every spring and fall with the weather change.
I love this❤
Appreciate the detailed breakdown! Just a quick off-topic question: My OKX wallet holds some USDT, and I have the seed phrase. (alarm fetch churn bridge exercise tape speak race clerk couch crater letter). What's the best way to send them to Binance?
I have one that knows what he wants to do and another one who doesn’t. He says he doesn’t want college though. So whatever resources you have I’d love to know for when is their turn
Homeschooling is the only way to go nowadays. You save your kids from being indoctrinated into the gay life or transgender life. They don’t learn about sex in kindergarten. Save your children homeschool them find a way home school.
Amen
So you want the next generation home schooled by self absorbed day drinkers that can't find the US on an unmarked globe? Good luck with that.
Great video. I will try this on my kids.
How can they learn to take on the world if they only experience Your point of view of the world? Hopefully they are involved in some kind of public extracurricular activity.
"Your consistency and quality keep me coming back to your channel. Keep it up!"
The issue isn't with common core, infact the fact you don't understand it makes perfect sense Becuase math is a science and our understanding of how to learn it changes In your husband's and hell in my day we were taught to just memorize the tables, and that those were just the right answer without engaging about why it's the right answer Common core adds asking you why, and having you explain your math problem rather than just memorizing Think of it as the difference between memorized ideas and internalized ideas
I achieve way higher than average, highest scoring in everything and my mum won’t homeschool me? She works from home, and spends 1-2 hours a day in work meetings, she has hours of her day and has a flexible schedule, but won’t homeschool me? I hate public school, I told her I really need to either be homeschooled or private schooled. Public school isn’t working, I complete all my work In 25-30 minutes. Out of a 100 minute lesson. She could put sheets of paper on the desk and I would do it. I am very capable of doing all my work independently, as that’s what I do in public school. I spend more time speaking to my friends online than offline anyway. I don’t go outside to socialise at home. It forces me to sit there in a room for 100 minutes watching the teacher put videos on about the topic I got 100% on the test for before we started it. The teachers lecture me, you won’t learn if you do everything quickly, but I do learn like that. I don’t do my homework as it’s useless. The homework is last months work. Any tips on how I can convince her to let me be homeschooled? Her main reason is because the tests cost money, GCSE’s. I’m English, year 8. I am extremely worried that I am going to fail in my future career path I see myself in, as an entrepreneur.
Hello, I’m currently nearly 17 and I’ve been using a program called Acellus since I was, I believe, 14. It does cost money but not nearly as much compared to online programs like k-12. You can also get the Rodger Billing’s scholarship to make it cheaper- I think my mom’s aunt (who covers tuition fees) pays around $80-$95 for my tuition per month. It’s pretty easy too, and there’s not much needed on your mom’s end besides helping you to assign your classes on the parent’s account. The program is also accredited so if you plan on getting into a college in the future, you’ll be able to. I think you may have to take certain tests outside of Acellus though, such as the SAT and ACT. It can be a little annoying though, because everything is done without any real teacher assistance if you need it, and they can rush through subjects pretty quickly so I would recommend taking time out to focus on each lesson afterwards to try to better memorize what you’ve learned. Some things are not up to date as well- I remember in a world geography (it may have been something else) class, it had a question for what the world’s population was… and my answer got marked wrong even though it was correct in the time I was in but the video that the questions came from were from like 2018… So it’s also advised to take notes- I never do but it’s still very useful haha So yeahhh there isn’t much effort needed from your mom’s end, just some money, a device (preferably a tablet or computer to do it on), a notebook, a pencil, and a calculator. Of course, you don’t need a calculator but it’s recommended to have one since a physical one is often better than the one on your phone, in my experience, I prefer using a physical calculator rather than an app.
Thank you!
I don’t think I’m the target audience
Im 14, home schooled, and the best thing to help learn money for kids is “stamps” there are 10 stamps on a card, a card is worth a dollar each, 300 cards is 300 dollars but getting 30 cards is hard because your spending them on stuff like school suplies or snacks, it helps them learn saving and working, school 1 stamps if you need them to do cursive 2 stamps if they get everything right its 3 for chores its 1 stamp each (the cards have punch holes on them making 10¢ each) so perfect should would be 1 dollars and chores gets them “money” as well which lets them work for stuff, Im definitely doing this for my kifs
Send your kids to school youre stunting their social growth. Also they’ll prolly end up gay. Not that it’s a bad thing but you seem like the type of person to be upset about that
a lot of us are fine. I was homeschooled, don't struggle with social anxiety or with social cues. No one can tell or knows I was homeschooled. Same goes for all my friends I grew up with in the homeschool community. I'm a healthy adult with a masters degree, a good career, a nice home and a boyfriend. Some of us did grow up "gay" but they would have even if they went to public school because sexuality isn't something you can help
Or you could send your kids to public school and get a real job.
