    Definitely edible! but as a psa to people in the comments don't think every mushroom that had been eaten is edible for humans! Same way your dog can't eat some foods humans eat. Humans can't eat some mushrooms animals eat :)

    Isn’t there a wire in them? So you’ll just end up poisoning your tomato’s and killing the plant?

      Just curious… how is the wire poison?

    • @ChahtaAnumpa
      @ChahtaAnumpa 4 місяці тому

      @@jofallout Tomatoes can be poisoned by wires through a process called "phytotoxicity." Metals like copper or zinc in the wire can leach into the soil, especially when wet, and be absorbed by the plant roots. This can interfere with nutrient absorption and damage plant tissues, leading to symptoms like yellowing leaves, stunted growth, and wilting. I spoke with a botanist on this and they also don’t agree with this setup even if they have had success for 4 years.

    Вы не правильно полузуетесь клипсой. Нужно вставить верёвку в углубление между двумя половинками. И тогда защелкнуть. Тогда клипса очень сильно зафиксируется на верёвке и томаты не сползут от своей тяжести

    Would you use the same mix when planting seeds in a 10 or 15 gallon container? I’m planning to plant winter squash directly in containers

    • @thatgardeningchannel
      @thatgardeningchannel 2 роки тому

      I use this same mix just switch up the amount of amendments I put in. this mix is just used for starting seeds. Because seeds are not in the soil blocks that long you don't need as much amendments. If you have something in a container its going to need more minerals and vitamins to sustain long term growth. I would put same amendments in just up the amounts go with something like this. 4 cups alfalfa 4 cups earthworm casting 3 cups neem 2 cups kelp meal 1 cup azomite 1 cup bio char Its the potting up mix ua-cam.com/users/shortstU9y4L5P7zk My ratio is 25% alfalfa 25% neem 25% earthworm casting 17% kelp 4% biochar 4% azomite If your growing heavy feeding crops in those containers. You will need to fertilize them once a month with some compost and amendments. I'm going live tonight at 6pm PST and I will bring this question up and go into more detail.
