A short video to show what we do and what has been done at Marston Steam & Vintage Restorations. This video was partially created for a stand we had at Bedford Steam & Country Fayre

We are the new custodians of a 1907 Clayton & Shuttleworth Threshing Drum. The drum was delivered by DCV Engineering and we used our Tom & Karl's 1901 SCC Burrell. The drum has been set up in test mode. Usually this would run at a much higher RMP. This was completely safe.

Based at Papplewick Pumping Station, this fire-tube steam boiler was made by Danks of Netherton. Commonly Known as a chain grate fed boiler, it was designed to burn coal at a steady rate with semi automatic operation. The boiler provides steam to engines around the site with a working pressure of 75 pounds per square inch. The boiler is undergoing a service. You can see that it has it's plates ...
