It features songs from her first three studio albums: Yours Truly (2013), My Everything (2014) and Dangerous Woman (2016), as well as her duet with John Legend, "Beauty and the Beast" for the Beauty and the Beast: Original Motion Picture Soundtrack (2017) and "Faith" with Stevie Wonder for the Sing: Original Motion Picture Soundtrack (2016). It was released, digitally and physically, only in Japan on September 27, 2017, by Universal Music Japan.
In Japan, the album sold 24,764 copies in its opening week, where it peaked at number two on the Oricon Albums Chart. It ranked at numbers 68 and 73 on the Oricon year-end listings for 2017 and 2018, respectively.

Yet she was the worst judge on Idol🤣 Her critique was always off.
To be fair, I actually enjoyed that season of Idol. She gave the show some class & her star quality & charisma was undeniable. No wonder so many contestants looked up to her & it became the best season for female contestants.. Yes, she wasn’t the best judge but whenever it’s her turn to speak, you can tell that the audience respects her & listens to what she says. I remember her critiques were being geared more towards the arrangement of the performance or the technicalities behind it. Not the actual contestant though because for her everyone was good.. 😅
@@AgentAO7 Yes! She showed her musical intelligence in terms of critiquing song arrangements and the technicalities. I think she didn't want to hurt the contestant's feelings. Mariah has first hand experience of what it's like to be heavily critiqued (for every single thing in her case) and what's it's like to be very hard on oneself. Almost everyone she has worked with have expressed how insanely musically intelligent/gifted she is. She's also like a human boombox, she knows hundreds of songs from various genres -- she is a student of music! Which is why she can write, produce, arrange and compose at her level. So again, I think she just held back on Idol because when Mariah is getting interviewed about her actual work (& not rumours or personal life) you can tell she knows what she's talking about. She knows her craft.
@@julinaavril4565 Mariah is likely "innately calibrated" and notices missteps. But she isn't a Simon Cowell who indulges in being a wrecking ball. I'll bet nearly every singer, she held back a lot.
Her critique was always ON. People just wanted her to be brutal but she doesn’t need to do that. If someone sucked somebody else said it but she didint need to.
