Do you have to have an ORV sticker? And is it really free? I’m not far from here and have a dirt bike I’d like to take
@josephnye9551 Yes. In ohio it is a requirement to have a registered orv. All od my atvs are tagged. If your dirtbike has a title it can be acquired at the dmv for under $40. The area is completely free to use. I may be there this upcoming weekend. Thanks for watching.
Please record if you do a aftermarket radiator relocate. I wanna keep my storage box but I wanna relocate at the same time
@kraziiboi47 will do thanks for watching
It's a oil screen
@nicklopez3580 yeah i had to clean it. It had clutch material in it.
I know I'm a little late but did u make sure the screen at the bottom was in engine before and after clutch reinstall
@nicklopez3580 yes i did.
Where did you find the clutch kit and do you know if there is one for a 2024 ds
@danielhodges5825 www.fullpowerperformance.com/bombardier-can-am-2006-2014-ds250-high-performance-trail-racing-cvt-clutch-kit/
@danielhodges5825 this is the kit i used. Not sure if it will work on a 2024. If you are looking for performance. The newer 250s have a red stopper in the carburetor that can be removed.
Mine doesn't have the spacer and I got the big gun exchaust and jets and sprocket so I thought the clutch kit would round it off but there doesn't seem to be anything past the 2014 bike
@@averagejohnhorsemanis this clutch replacement or upgrade?
Do u have to have a plated atv or sticke
Mine are all plated
Opinion on muffler mod?
Honestly. Didn't make any difference
You didn't get me on there. ByMorgan
You're on the video. Didn't have any shots of you on this corner
Are you from Ohio? I’m looking for some new people to ride with.
Yep sure am
That looked like a great time!!!👊👊

What size sockets and tools you using?
Depends on what parts of the project im working on. I generally don't keep track of bolt sizes. Due to have full sets of tools
@@averagejohnhorseman clutch pack center bolt, the big one you took off 1st
I don't remember exactly what size. The tools are a set of harbor freight deep well impact sockets on a 1/2 inch drive electric impact.
He useing 10mm socket

Looks like brand new! Hope it stays that way now🎉
Damn if that outlander is stock that’s impressive
She was bone stock at that time. I hadn't even made my first payment. LOL
@@averagejohnhorseman what’s the top speed of that sucker?
In stock form i was getting 70 mph
@@averagejohnhorseman that’s impressive. I decided to go with a 2023 Kingquad 750 and I haven’t topped it out yet, waiting to break her in first, but it’s def got plenty of power.
When Levi and grandpa went Levi had a long lead ahead of grandpa
dads just being a hero
Jeremy’s saw is a 310. Pretty sure it’s 59cc and got beat by that 50cc husky lol.
I've said it for years those Sthil's are over rated
And it got smoked by a 59cc echo.
Weak sauce
Pretty solid winch for the money. I also love the black ops from super atv. Comes with synthetic rope and wireless remote.
Glad you’ll finally be able to use your Christmas gift!💝
Music really
At least you got the garden tilled!❤️
IM BACK TO CONFIRM AFTER FOLLOWING THIS VIDEO - a little brake cleaner in the intake fired right up. Perfect video. Im just tickled pink. Quick story time - I grew up in and emancipated away from at 15, foster care. I dont have a dad. This video was able to teach me. I appreciate you sir. At 39 it meant alot to me to fix this quad of mine so the kids can use it another season. I usually pay people to just fix stuff and since having kids I have really invested in learning things myself. THANK YOU SO MUCH!
Great news. I've used UA-cam plenty of times for things similar to this. Hence why I have decided to film these videos. I'll have another one on an old quad coming soon. I appreciate your support.
Excellent video, followed it to replace my one way starter clutch on a YFB250 Yamaha Timberwolf from 1993. However, I believe I am off time. Motor turns over, have spark, Im not sure what to do next - any advice sir?
Thanks for watching. If it will fire on some starting fluid. It will be a fuel delivery problem. If not it maybe a timing issue.
@@averagejohnhorseman prior to replacing the one way (this is all NEW territory for me, video was excellent haha!) clutch, it didnt have any fuel issues - Ill try some ether later tonight and report back (if you are okay with that!)
@@averagejohnhorseman brake cleaner was in my shed already, and it fired right up! Carb is racing a little higher RPM, now to learn how to adjust the carb haha
The place has an interesting history. The western half of it, across the road from the parking lot, used to be a gigantic pine forest. Absolutely towering stand of trees planted in the mid 1900s as a strategic timber farm but never harvested. I used to ride there weekly and it felt like I was out west. Unlike anything else in the area. But in 2010, a huge tornado wiped out all the pine trees. They aren't designed for high winds and every single one of them snapped. It was a total mess for years as they cleaned it up. The eastern half faired better because deciduous trees are better at handling winds. Glad to see it's recovered. I'm going to check it out for the first time since then this week.
1000 cc outlander.
Nope my outlander is a G3 700.
Hey man, where did you order the new plastics?
I believe it was from can am parts house.
i dont know how that renegade didnt smoke that outlander when the renegade has a +40 hp advantage
too much power for traction. Plus im sure he left off a bit to stop the wheelie. Regardless that 700 was moving. But had the renegade had traction and no wheelie, it wouldve smoked the 700. still awesome. awesome to see the underdog win
Do you have it tuned/flashed?
No I do not. Would like to but only after and exhaust upgrade. Thanks for watching
How's the power feel on this machine? I'm tempted by the 850 but think it's probably way more than I need. I like the changes on these new 700s. My trail riding area there's nowhere you'd ever need to go over 40 mph unless you have a death wish. Those look like great trails, thanks for the video.
Power is solid. Very stout for a 650cc single. My kids repeatedly beat a new 850 polaris scrambler drag racing at the dunes. I dirt dragged it and just recently added 27inch tractor tires. Almost no change in performance. Thanks for watching
@@averagejohnhorseman Thank you for your reply. I think the 700 will meet my needs perfectly.
Can Am’s aren’t cheap! We were looking at side by side and woooo $$$$$$, settled for a Polaris Ranger! Question… was it you that taught Zach the spray and fire? Lol
Maybe. Lol
He better be ok!
That’s the “Nervous Nelly” Nana syndrome kicking in! Lol ❤
Yes he is fine.
out of curiosity what breeds are all of the horses ?
Little bit of everything. The non gaited are quarter horses. And the gaited are considered single footers
Three words, cycle bar mower.
Glad to see someone else doing the same thing I do. In my case, we use a small 33 bushel ground driven spreader pulled by a Kubota RTV. We have a great looking hay field and no big pile of poop sitting around.❤
Yep I usually spread my own pile as well as my dad's. Thanks for watching.
Your rough on stuff
First unhook the Bush hog. Pull that back. THEN hook onto the tractor.
Let some air out of truck tires.
+Step on the differential lock
Knew a man who for year's mowed to close to the water, till it flipped over crushing him, please be careful
😍 "Promo SM"
The ways I described would have been faster
and also back the truck up to the tractor straight and also turn the wheels on the tractor straight.
and you could have also undone the receiver hitch to take the chain off
and why didn't you go to the lower side of the tractor and get the chain out from under it
It was stuck under the tire.
and brush hogs are not designed to be hooked onto for towing, a friend of mine used a brush hog as a tow hook and it started coming apart.
Did it occur to you that you could go in reverse and use the forks on the front to help you get out without the help of the truck?
omg chain around the ball scary
Dude. Slow down. You let yourself get in a panic. You let your work start time apply pressure and your first idea is the best idea was your go do. In glad you got it out. Not once did I see you use the loader to help get the front wheels out and you never lined your wheels to your pull…don’t panic when you don’t need to bud
