if youre new to the game and doesnt have full mastery such as skills and stats, the only option you have is blind the titans first before killing them. but if you have atleast farthest hook range then you can start the kill orbit from a safer distance. you can do the orbit thing as shown in the video but in a longer distance since getting grabbed from the side is very likeley if you level your flight on the titan shoulders.
