From time to time I dip into West of Honour. John Christian Falkenberg is a great character. And I loved the first few books Jerry did with Larry Niven were fantastic. Lucifers Hamner and Footfall.

I think you have no free will during a rerun is because your flesh does not recognize the entity as self. Fantastic book, I never read this one before for some reason. It's such a relief to list3en to an author with an ironic sense of humor in this era of phony optimism and self-proclaimed "winners" who are at least as miserable as everybody else.

It always comes down to bad religion because the authers are in almost all atheists.
