(UV Dye) Power Steering Line Leak - Honda Accord
Found a hell of a leak on the 2005 Accord 2.4L. It's been destroying serpentine belts the last year. Finally got around to addressing the leaky fluid. Ended up being the high pressure line on the PS Pump. Whatever brand I bought last time is complete junk.
Thankfully this UV Dye did it's job in helping identify.

    Eternal vigilance is the price of liberty... as well as the inability to fall asleep and relax in your sleep state. There are too good of chances that you gon' get killed immediately by other woodland critters or a human hunter. That's why I see this head-rolling behavior in deer and other animals. You can see vigilant behavior up to the point of falling asleep- and it continues into a head nodding or something like this.

    • @FirearmFanatic1357
      @FirearmFanatic1357 11 днів тому

      @@Jay_Flippen I appreciate the explanation. Makes perfect sense to these characteristics in the deer. "Always on the lookout" in a sense. Some people I showed this too said that it was possibly rabies or some other sickness. To me, he looks like he found a good place to take a safe nap, but was still hesitant on falling asleep fully in fear of his safety lol

      @@FirearmFanatic1357 There was actually another clip of a deer doing this exact same thing, but without the conspicuous background of wire-netting fence. If I had to guess, I'd say this is right next to a window of a rural house. (I think the sound in the last split second indicates such.) I don't think a captive buck used for studding or controlled hunts would have this alarmist semi-sleep state I hypothesized earlier.

      @FirearmFanatic1357 I have a problem since it takes away 1 shells worth of capacity in 8 round capacity guns since a roll crimped 2 3/4" is the same length as a star crimped 3" shell. As low capacity as shotguns are, every round is a big difference.

      Man mine hasn't. It seems like everybody else's is like that too. Some say it's a safety feature from factory so you can't just accidentally knock it and open the breach. But idk. It's easy to actuate when you close the action really softly. But hard and stuck feeling when you close it normally.

    At the rate we expend 9mm range ammo that is a 3 year supply...sure, we could have max fun and blow it up in just 2 or 3 range visits, but other than the fun we gain nothing...better to shoot a little at least once a month, or even fewer rounds every couple of weeks...how you shoot your 1st magazine/cylinder IS how you shoot, and more constant practice will improve skills more than huge, rare practice...we very rarely shoot more than a couple of magazines/cylinders, the exception .22lr plinking, where equal fun is much more affordable...

But the weight distribution is nice. It came stock with 30" tired? Stock rear TRD Locker and a surprisingly nice low range. My first plan of mod is the "grey wire" mod.
