Sounds like someone who picked up a tenor sax for the first time. Atrocious.
Albert Ayler LIVES !
Really cool fast concert from the best of British punk bands . Flatpack Philosophy, one of the great Buzzers classic albums !!
Dream Team.
Good old Roy, my friend...
UNIQUE
Merci!!
Alvin Fielder. Kidd Jordan. Eddie Gale. The last of the Giants. RIP.
I saw them here one year later (with George Lewis sitting in), but this is fantastic to see, thanks for sharing!
Fred Anderson was a mentor to me, in the late 1970s. He didn't need to be kind to me- I was a goofy white pimply high school dude. However, he was nice to me, letting me and my buddy sit in with them, and hanging out with us at the bar next to The Birdhouse, his venue of the time (we were not old enough to get in, but it seemed to be OK) He told me stories about seeing Charlie Parker shows, and other jazz lore. I remember him Very fondly. What an awesome guy.
THAT'S MY MUSIC!
Legends
Spirituality and technique can't be separated.
i played with bora bergman with joe jardullo & harvy sorgen at deep listening space , kingston New York he was great, i was playing bass
Billy Bang was my neighbor back in the 70s. Nice guy🎶🎻🎶

I was blessed to play with Billy in Berlin 😁my MAN👍💔
I loved Billy and his brilliance.
I loved Billy and his brilliance.
He played in Toronto's "Trane" jazz club the summer of 2009..Guest of "Trouble"(Harvey Cowan) It was truly a Spellbinding experience I will never forget...!!! RIP SIR BILLY....
This is where I take a lesson...
GOD BLESS DAVID
This is music?? Strikes me as the emperor's new clothes syndrome
If you can't hear it, you are not really listening.
Post 2020 and people still don’t understand the obvious
It was an honor to play on the same bill with this man at the Mercury Lounge.
Sound on this is awful no bottom end at all.
I was there but missed most of the show (for reasons I won't get into... ); so thank you for posting this!! Luckily- I did get to see them again but it was one of the farewell shows in Stockholm. Good times. RIP Strängen.
love it!!

Grande Fred grazie
🙏🏿🙌🏿♥️
love your music!!
Que bandita se armó Pettinato aquí !!
Hell Yeah!
Omg It's so good, I don't know much about music, but I love being swayed by it. I'm so glad youtube recommended this to me!
Wonderful. Ethereal. Eternal. Thank you so much
Ribot had to be following Sonny Sharrock at some time. I hear a lot of Sonny's influence here.
I saw Marc opening for Sonny around 1995!
@@stephencarroll230 I bet you'll never forget that one! Really was into that scene around that time. Would have been cool to see them together w/ Miroslav Vitouš.
@@josephtravers777 The Sharrock Band concert was one of the greatest I have ever see! Many others in the audience thought so at the time, as well. Ribot was also excellent and played some Ayler pieces. He was young and had many equipment problems making him angry. I hadnt heard of him, but told the band how great they sounded. I actually got a chance to talk to Sonny. Ribot was good, But Sharrock Band was at a whole other level! 2 drummers, 2 basses, keyboards and guitar.
