Behringer DR400 Delay&Reverb - Is it any good for spacey atmospheric music? (Post-rock, Shoegaze..)
Here's another Behringer pedal that have been in my droor for a long time and I decided to just play spontaneously and film it. This is supposed to be a Boss RV-3 clone which is used by many artists.
What do you think about this pedal?

Behringer UD100 DEMO - Is this distortion any good for heavier music???
Переглядів 4702 роки тому
This cheapish plastic pedal supposed to be a clone of Boss DS-2 I think? Original one is played by many known guitarists like Kurt Cobain, John Frusciante etc. I found this pedal from my door where it have been sitting for a long time. I remember it being awful but is it really? What do you think? #doommetal #sludge #grunge #cobain #frusciante #bossds2 #guitartutorial #pedalboard
How to make ZOOM G1XON multieffect sound like HM2.. Kinda
Переглядів 2,2 тис.5 років тому
I decided to try to emulate classic nasty, grindy, buzzsaw swedish deathmetal tone with my Zoom G1Xon digital multieffect unit just for shits and giggles. And also I was using single coil telecaster and Fender amp. How many things I can do wrong at the same time?? Anyways here are results. Mic placement wasn't the best so the results aren't very best. It sounds more similiar in the room except ...
Ibanez DML - Poorman’s Rainbow machine or something complitely different??
Переглядів 1,3 тис.5 років тому
I saw this thing on FB Marketplace and couldn’t resist buying it. This is me noodling with the pedal for the first time ever. Will I keep it? Maybe. I really think that those long lasting delays with a hint of modulation is pretty nice sounding for my taste. Sorry about one clip being out of sync. My laptop is too slow handling video edit software so sometimes these things happen :( Gear used F...

ZOOM CDR-70 DEMO -The most versatile and affordable ambient machine??
Переглядів 57 тис.6 років тому
I bought this pedal week ago after watching several youtube demos. But I didn’t know that it was this versatile ja good sounding! It seems that possibilities for different sounds are endless! These are mainly HAMMOCK, SIGUR ROS, ambient/post-rock type of presets but I'll try to do something different with this little machine! Here’s some few custom sound presets I have made. First one was a tes...
can you use this on stomp mode?
beautiful sound, i hope you will make a video of how you made this sound from the zoom cdr70. Thank You
I have one for sale, but it doesn't work, let me know if anybody who might be able to repair it wants to have it
How about the quality of the tuner. ??
Se puede programar como octavador?
Thanks for sharing this...
Twisted reverb is HEAVENLY. Well done 👍
definitely seems like a shoegaze machine
it seems like a very good pedal, thanks for the demo :) you can't mix up the different sounds , can you? I'd like to find the same pedal with the possibility to use differents effects at the same time.
Looks like a really versatile pedal for the price, lovely playing as well
These go for more than the rainbow machine now lol
please share your settings
I love ambient music, so I picked one of these up to become a little more independent of Ableton
Underrated demo and a great pedal. Someday a company will get hip and design a digital delay that is a mix of these Ibanez "10 Series" Modulation Delays with the same type of wide, whacky modulation but with a simple, alarm clock style digital display screen to set exact, to the millisecond delay time. This way you can get easy control of everything from subtle, widening comb filtering to flanging, chorus and then "typical" delays. Then add an element of the old Boss DD2/Digital Sample-Delay with a longer sample time. This way the pedal could provide easily accessible stutters and glitching as well as "freezing" sounds/notes to play over. Whilst still being able to use the modulation sounds separate of the sampler. It might sound difficult but for the average DSP savvy pedal designer it'd be child's play.
Ibanez made (almost) the pedal you're describing back in the 80's, it was called "PDM-1", check it out! ;)
Can you please show the patches and settings?🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺
bro, are these patches or are you in stomp mode?
Do you have settings on this demo? I really love the sound of it!
thank *YOU*
Whats the setting for the warped?
I like this zoom cdr 70
Thanks for sharing. I came to the same conclusion that you did. It can do a decent emulation of some $600 reverb and delay units. I also like that you focused on ambient, since this is my favorite genre.
I bought Zoom MS70CDR because of your video
I'm now going to purchase one thanks to you great demo
do you have a patch settings?
Nice 👍 I have an electric acoustic, will this be good for that? and I have a looper pedel, could I connect it to it and loop different effects over each other, and if so could I use the foot switch to swap effects.. thanks 👍
Hey! I think it will work with Electric acoustic just fine. Many people use it with synths also. Yes you can change presets with footswitch but It's little clumsy to be honest. You cant change them back and forth. When you press it just changes the next patch. And if you want to get back to previous you have to go past other patches to get back to the first. Hope this helped you.
ya it did thank a lot 👍 gona still get one 👍
2:28 Aaaaand I'm sold.
+1
Strymon Big sky 1000x the best.
This is sarcasm, right?
I love this pedal!
Dude! So awesome! Can you please message me your settings for Twisted Reverb and the Sigur Ros or just give basic instructions on which FX you used- SO good!!!
Hey and thank you for feedback. Soon I'll try my Best to do a video to show the settings to patches. Im not sure if I have the same excact patches anymore but ill try to replicate them as close as I can
I second this. I am very interested in those patches! Come on, 2020 needs this after this awful year. 😊
It should not be difficult to achieve these sounds, people. If you find effects you like on a pedal, take it from there and modify to your heart's... you know, have fun getting to know the unit...Be the creator👽

The Twisted Reverb sound you made is phenomenal! Can you share your settings?
any chance you'll ever post the patches like Do Noise does? totally understandable if not, since you spend a long time on them. but would be cool. thanks for taking the time and effort to create the demo!
Yes there is chance. Problem is that im just too lazy doing videos because I do photography/videography for living so sometimes don't have motivation to do it on free time😬 and I'm not sure if I have all those presets on my zoom. Ill try to video this year!
@@stonelakesounds haha totally dang fair. i feel ya. i used to do more videos (cringe, pls dont watch lol) but lately the day job fills my time. thx tho <3
@@stonelakesounds please reconsider this! It would be amazing and I wouldnt mind paying for them!
If you ever decide to sell your patches in a downloadable form...I am buying them. Please consider doing this. 😉
Whatever it is you are doing starting at 2:33 is absolutely amazing. Are you using a volume pedal at all?
Thank you. No there was no volume pedal used. To create that sound is mainly just Particle Verb with almost full mix.
Thank you....I will give it a try.
@@stonelakesounds can I just do it with the mod delay without particle reverb?
@@totoarieta833 Hey! Particle reverb is the key with this sound. I think it could work with just particle reverb if you get the right settings.
One of the best Multistomp vids I’ve seen yet. Thank you for the inspiration. I posted it on the Zoom Multistomp Users page facebook.com/groups/2436166353091247/?ref=share
The heavy metal is more raw. I think that is because of the EQ pedals that cut the frequency of bass. But you've made a good job. You made me save my money. I have G1on too and Tonebug Distortion. Chers
Hey thank you! I think it sounded a lot more similiar in the room than through mic. I didnt change mic placement or adjust anything else. Also unfortunately didnt have humbucker guitar to try it out. I really enjoyed HM-2 as a fuzz with milder settings.
@@stonelakesounds Yes. That is the reason. The mic. I have an active humbucker on my guitar and a fender frontman amp. I will follow your tips and come back to feedback. Are you Finish? Sentenced album shadows from the past is pure HM-2 :)
In my guitar with active cap it was more difficult beacuse of high gain of the caps but I achieve a similar tone. Thank you again
@@EduardoTorres2009 yea I guess it always takes tweaking with different gear and player. And yes I used to listen sentenced a lot when I was a kid.
Got this same gem. Loving the way you are using it. Do you put yours in front or in your effects loop?
Hi! I pretty much always run effects in front with little bit of dirt:)
will you recommend this over the ms-50g?
I havent used the ms50g. I think that one haves amp models, distortion etc but lacks some of the reverb and delay sounds that cdr70 haves. So if youre into spacey effects take the cdr70
Hi Luster . i see you several times in comment section about pedal reviews! which pedal did you buy omega drive or Shredhead?
@@markargel6119 i have bought the Omega Drive hahah. check out my latest upload i have made a demo on it haha :)
The ms 50g has all the effects of the ms70. Plus distortions and amp mod. Unless you need stereo input, the 50g is better.
@@piage84 i lik3 zoom 70 cdr better.,,, because it is specially made for ambient hence two stereo outputs ,,then i just use my amp modelrer for the rest
I'm convinced. I need this. Thanks for the stellar demo!
thanks mate!
Can you pass me the patch you used to mount the modulate of boss rv-5?
Hey. I had actually deleted that patch accidentaly but its just basicly "Mangled space" reverb with settings about like this. PDLY 0, CLIP 20, MIX 45, DECAY 85, MOD 45, SIZE 70, LOW - 9, HIGH 40, LEVEL 85
That pedal is a poor man's nothing, Chief.
Maybe it wasn't back when he got it lol Costs like half a month's rent now 😅
@@mr_guy661 I was really lucky and got mine for £30 haha
@@Radiofred tbh mate I wish you didn't tell me that 🙈 Congrats tho, when did you buy it?
@@Radiofred I'm currently looking at one for £250 💀
@@mr_guy661 sorry haha. It was around 12 years ago so I suppose they didn't have the value they have now. Prices are crazy though.
i have this pedal,it's amazing and the different combinations are infinite
Yea thats true. Need to try some new ones also with mine!
Awesome demo!!.
Hi, do you sell this pedal? I found it on sale on a Finnish website and tried to contact you via mail. Cool video, nice gear. Cheers from Italy.
I can hear the signal even when its not activated..This is not good , so typical of Zoom
Perfect! Great pedal for ambient guitar.
And with synths its……..AWESOME,,,,,,,
That's why I bought mine...
Those are some brutal but fizzy tones. Are you sure they use Telecasters in classic Swedish death metal? Nice video though
Hi and thanks! No I don't think that they used telecasters or either fender amps for those sounds. Those are just only guitar things that I have in my home currently. I'm not also very happy how I recorded audio for this demo. Mic placement was little of. They sounded more similiar in the room though Boss was more bassy, louder and aggressive.
Great demo, Amazing! Sensacional esta demo, muito bom!
beautiful ...
