Man they couldn't give 4 episodes to Andy Hunter or Johnny Allen and have the viewer actually interested for the whole stretch. I mean this was essentially filler to get through a week in September but it was fun to watch and thats all down to Martin Kemp/Steve Owen.

Loved every minute of this! Watched all 7 parts. Absolute legend for uploading!

Why me

Steve owen was class. Flawlessly stylish. Any character in soapland steve had that classic style about him. The crisp suits and the slick back haircut. Quality. I suppose eastenders brought max branning in with that similiar dress sense and flash suits but he didnt have that class no matter how expensive his suits were.

I thought Derek Branning was good, but he is nothing compared to Steve Owen.

Why did Steve have to die? I liked this character. Bloody EastEnders getting rid of the best characters. You keep Phil, yet he is nothing without his brother Grant. They should of made Steve have a child with either Sam or Mel.

Too right! Steve was the first character i saw when i started watching Eastenders, shame he blew up 2 minutes later, if he was in the show these days, then i imagine quite a few people would be on the edge of their seat when he had a storyline.
