Chal Nakhjir Cave, Iran
Nakhcheer, Chal-e Nakhjir, or Chal-Nakhjir (Persian: غار چالنخجیر) is a cave situated in Jushaq Rural District of the Central District of Delijan County, Markazi province, Iran.
Its coordinates are 34°02′11″N 50°45′58″E.
It is a limestone cave approximately 70 million years old. Parts of the cave, including its internal lake, have been prepared for easy tourist access. It was discovered in 1989 and registered as a national monument in 2001. Its interior is made of crystals, dolomite sediments, stalactites and stalagmites.

Dating based on era is not very effective, since most of the people never heard about Qajar or any other eras / dynasties in Iranian history. I am surprised that in Iran, especially in museums, this dating system is commonly used.
In the museums you can find diffrent dating system. However, just a few vistors are tourists. As tourists prefer not to travel to the Iran.

Interesting instrument. What did they use fot strings 3000 years ago? Certainly not steel and brass? Anything else would sound very different
I'm not sure, Maybe different alloy.
We actually know very little about pre-Islamic Iranian music, because most of the literature was destroyed by the conquering Arabs who Islamized Iran following the collapse of the Sasanian empire. It was probably quite diverse, with Roman and Greek influence. It's a miracle our culture still even exists.

I play American old-time fiddle. This is such a cool video to see. I love these tunes, dance music is dance music wherever you are. Cool to hear how the kamancheh preceded the violin and they both create awesome folk music. Also, I occasionally see the hammered dulcimer at old-time and Irish jams
I recommend you listen to some of Keyhan Kalhor's works. He is a Grammy Award winner and a master of Persian Kamanche. His pieces are deeply emotional and beautifully composed.

Iran probably has one of the most beautiful cultural sites. Very well preserved I can tell Iranians take pride in there culture
