My guard bar base broke just like yours. Except it did 3 times in 2 different spots. I welded the first two breaks and replaced it the third time. I hate this thing. I got a Haybine for cutting hay now but really like a sickle bar for trimming pastures instead of a brush hog. Wish New Holland still made one that rides on tires.
I have the same Enorossi, running it on a 955 Deere, now a Kubota 4200. Have run it for 3 seasons. It seems to cut well for about 2000 bales, then its time to replace the sickle teeth bar. I have never seen a piece of equipment that it so hard to mount on a three point hitch! I usually end up using a heavy duty 5 foot pinch bar just to wrestle the two lower pins onto the three point one at a time. There's a funny little steel fold up/down tab that is part of the sickle lower/rest position: I havent been able to get it up and locked for a whole season now. No positioning overcomes this. It usually took me 20-30 minutes to set up the mower on my 955. I have since put it on my old Kubota 4200 where it just stays; I don't take it off anymore. This last season the blades got dull late on, so for second cut I had to stop, lift, back up and lower and re-mow alot. I will try my third new bar this spring, but I really wish there was someone with real user experience to show me what's not right. I sure didn't get that from the Italian instructions. Glad you posted this video; I was about to try to buy a small drum/disk mower to cut the BS of haying with the Enorossi. I'can show some video of me using it if you want to comment...would appreciate some insight! rabtfarm@gmail.com
You need to turn the camera on the mower instead of leaving it on yourself. The video is supposed to be about the mower, not your body. I have this same mower.
Just wondering if you've used it vertically, like cutting a tree line. If so , what's your thoughts on that? Thanks
Let me see you switch out a section. How do you get both ends of the rivets flush?
help we need to change the bar and can't slide it out. Any advice?

I replaced my guard bar with the steel of an axe. The wood stands the vibrations for many years.
Hey I'd sure like to know what the chain is for and how it should be adjusted?? Thanks!!
I think it's supposed to carry some of the sickle bar weight. Mostly I observed the chain stretching from the load.
Been running sickle mowers all my life. Currently have the same mower. Do you buy your parts at ford distributing also?

It’s UA-cam, not Joycetube. It’s supposed to be to be whatever I want it to be.
Try listening . It is like reading instead of looking at the pretty pictures
