Good Morning Chelle! One way I've used up some single skeins is by making throw pillows. The first time, I used an old throw pillow that was destined for the landfill...the second time, I was at Joann's and picked up a pillow form.

What a sweet haul and so great to see you so excited about it. The only thing I know about how to tell a vintage yarn is if it was pre their using UPC codes or the scan bars for pricing and imputing into computers. I'm sure I will be corrected if my version is incorrect. Hugs'n'Smooches dear.

I remember the yo you quilts...love this idea! I think there is something authentically creative about using what we have or recycling/upcycling items that would otherwise make their way to a landfill. It's very anti fast fashion 😃 I like watching the yarn haul videos from time to time and I don't know if it's my weird ocd/anxiety...but there are times I find it all TOO much. Too much yarn, too many wips, too many boxes, too many bags, too much consumerism or something but I always find more-conversation-less-stuff way more relaxing.
