Can Hens be noisy? here is the answer.
This is a long video, longer than i wanted, however do not have the time to cut it. 7 in the morning on a Sunday this was recorded. Chucks light operated outside door had not opened yet, inside door had opened at 7AM. Not to happy it seems.

The chucks eat Eggs , yes they were scrambled for them. I don't even get scrambled egg. These chucks are spoilt, I am questioning pecking orders, and how far I am down it. Scrambled egg disappears in 13 seconds at the end of the video.

I thought there was a pecking order and this video would show this, However just as i was expecting the two white ones, Larger hanging combs, always went to bed first. This was the case for long time until today.....

She enters coop at 12.20 and leaves 30 mins later. It takes 30 mins laying time. Check the times on the video. Its hard to see due to background light. Should really think of a name for these chucks, maybe with Left or Right in the name.

if it would have got in , the noise is unbearable , not sure if its the chucks or the rodent, but high pitch squealing. i heard it one night , when the door failed and i didn't realize. Anyone else had this screeching?

Yes its small, my cameras sadly didnt pick it up, the dog keeps going in after it. but really at night the door failed and rat shrieking was heard. until i get my coop camera you wont see it. Watch the cat one. 4 times, how big did you think the rat was going to be, human sized

it was flushing out the mouse/rat. it didn't catch it , but could smell it behind the fence, need to get food closed to stop them coming back.
What kind of automatic door do you have and would you recommend it?
if you don't have a light to keep it open , it can be dangerous. it doesn't have an automatic stop, so if anything is stuck its likely to harm them. This is a plastic one is a cheap one on the outside of pen. This outside one is 20 quid and works ok with a timer on a light source. The one inside the coop works perfectly no need for any light because its timer activated. www.chuxaway.com/
cheap door is from Ebay , cannot find the seller but they are all the same, they have 40 pound ones with timers on , but i was paying this amount, be careful on the timings you set make sure they are 1 hour after hens go bed. There is no sensing of obstructions on the cheap ones.
