And 60 seconds earlier they were free on the train too. But rather than change anything, that just strengthens the point that Railway Station toilets should always be free in this day and age. Handy to know there are others somewhere nearby though, for those who don't live in Aberdeen. We're still not sure exactly where you mean though - inside the Mall, on the Upper Level at the south end? That's the only ones we know of nearby?

And yet we always thought Aberdeen was a SR station due to the First Class Lounge restrictions for LNER Advance 1st Ticket Holders. Well there you go! Also, we thought only SR still charge for toilets and NR had scrapped this practice. Cheers for the heads up!

No all Scotlands stations are owned by network rail same as in parts of England!!

Network Rail 'own' virtually all the railway infrastructure in the UK. Who 'runs' or 'manages' a station can differ from place to place however. And Aberdeen was managed by Abellio ScotRail until it was absorbed into public ownership of the Scottish Government. Aberdeen is therefore managed by ScotRail, and they therefore set charging. Unlike Edinburgh Waverley which is a joint managed station along with LNER. That's the info we got back from a friend who works for ScotRail as a Rostering Manager anyway.

Actually it is network rail who own and run Aberdeen railway station as one o my pals is a employee there and I put in for a job there and had to apply to network rail ? An as I'm an avid train spotter I've read up on it especially as network rail built the new station of dyce Aberdeen about four mile north of Aberdeen,!

T"was the other vehicles erratic driving, leading us to have to left-pass, that was causing driving danger and a potential accident. Clearly our driving could not have been excessive, such that you were able to have plenty time to read a small logo sticker 🤣👍🚘❤️ And you didn't toot to say Hello either 😉

And if perchance said other vehicle happened to be your own, then from the mouth of babies...😉🚘 We'll review the Dash cam footage to front and rear tomorrow however just to be sure or see if there is any learning value to be had from it, rest assured.
