HWJ Middle Earth Challenge
The first HWJ Challenge of 2025!!
January 3rd is National JRR Tolkien day!! So this weekend's challenge is to explore your inner middle earth!!
I used various sounds that I have sampled from my synths and modular system and used the SP-404 Mk2 to Jam this!! Also used my Guitar and the sustainer!!

This is my HWJ submission for the Dawn Chorus Challenge!! Something a bit different to what I normally do!! I have started to teach my self how to finger drum! with my new SP 404 mk2!! I got a Roland SP-404 Mk2 yesterday!! And I love it!! This is my very first jam using it! Found it hard at first but after watching some UA-cam videos I started to understand the workflow a bit better!! Still have so much to learn!! Just come from another HWJ Challenger using and eBow and now a sustainer. You have inspired me too! I'll be getting my eBow out before the end of the month for sure. Beautiful sounds and love how it flows and uses nice harmonic changes.

Buuuut.... if you love the blade runner sound track I'd suggest to give the movie a try. Fantastic atmosphere throughout the whole movie, gives the story enough time to develop. I've seen the movie... don't know... at least 10 times or so 🙃
